Locale presente dal 1994 sulla spiaggia di Alassio. Propone una cucina multietnica, dal pesce nostrano alla Paella, dalle carni da tutto il mondo al Messicano. Locale allegro, con musica dal vivo e spettacoli a tema. Rapporto qualita' prezzo ottimo, puliz
For years, even decades, we have been walking past this restaurant in the smug assumption that it was a tourist trap. The wide advertised selection: Tex-Mex, paella, pizza, seafood, spaghetteria, steaks, lots of photos of food have many of the warning signs. How can a restaurant do all these different types of food and do them well? But look closer, it is often filled and with more locals than tourists. Our mental tide turned when I read about the owner's campaign against the vindictive kind of TA reviews where people have said a lot of unkind things without the courtesy and fairness of bringing problems to the attention of the owners and giving them the opportunity to make them right. Clearly, nearly every one in the constantly challenging hospitality business wants to satisfy their customers. Why else would they earn a living in this demanding field? The greeting is sincere and cheerful. The menu is indeed expansive. We are not in a hurry to try the Tex-Mex offerings since we have access to the real deal at home. We opted for Argentine steaks and they were quite good. (We have spent some time in Argentina and appreciate the quality of its beef). Prices were fair. A mixed salad, desserts and Lavazza coffee were all well prepared and presented. The decor is a bit generic but not unpleasant. This has not all of a sudden become a favorite venue, but I have new respect for their hard work and decent offerings at fair and modest prices. We will be back to try their pizza and perhaps the Paella. Equally important, we are glad to have jettisoned one prejudice.

We return to this restaurant every chance we get particularly for the spaghetti Al vongale which is amazing. The menu is large and from the fish to pizza all is excellent including the hospitality. There is a marvellous wine list and it is worth asking the patron for a recommendation. Lovely family restaurant with a great outside terrace. Don't miss it open for lunch and dinner.

Known the owner for years. He had other restaurants in the past and food has always been good at the right price. Notwithstanding we told him the risotto was too salty, and he tried it, many others after us told me they experienced the same issue. He has definitely a problem with the cook... Everything else was perfect. Just mention to waiter to make sure they taste to check not to be too salty.

The best pizza place in town, place Is buzzing with activity, pizza flying out of the door or on table, good crust and toppings, together with a reasonally priced Chianti, seafood risotto on the table next to us also looked very nice. Quick and friendly service and reasonably priced overall.

Mentelocale is a small pizzeria on the seafront in Laigueglia in the dock area, offering many buns, many pizzas, some delicious seafood appetizer and desserts; addition to the classic drinks offers wines and craft beers. The local has a covered outdoor ar
I was there for lunch on a Sunday and the atmosphere was very heavy. Not a smile from the staff, no "Buon Appetito" when they give the dishes, no "did you enjoy your meal" when they remove the empty dishes... Nothing!!! not a word from the waiter or waitress. In my opinion this is not acceptable, it's like machines bringing you food. In one word they really don't care about the customers and it was the same way at every table around us.Now regarding the food, it wad good. Great pizza, good misto di mare and carpaccio. Restaurants are not only about food but service is as important than the food quality. For sure I will never go back there.

Il Pirata was recommended by our host for the quality of its food. We liked watching all the local families around us enjoying a multi-generational meal together. We were theonly Americans there. My dinner was an excellent tagliatelle verdure with mushrooms, calamari and white truffles - a rare treat! Their tiramisu alle nocciola is the best I ever had.

By far the best pizza and focaccia I have had in a while! Friendly take out place with a lot of choice. We tried everything to eat it on the pier in Laigueglia: cheese focaccia, farinata, pizza. It was sooooooooo good! And inexpensive too!

We visited la guieglia on a thursday evening and found this little gem perched in a very picturesque square. The service was not only very friendly but also efficient practically no waiting from order to getting the main course on the the table. I would highly recommend the branzino ala liguria a ligurian recipe. Simply Excellent!!

A small restaurant located in the middle of the historic center of Albenga. It has a large dehoor in the summer. Suitable for those who want to rediscover the flavors of the Ligurian cuisine of the past and to lovers of Gourmet pizza: Light and crunchy do
The place is simple and located in a nice square of the of the beautiful old town of albenga. We went for dinner and the restaurant was full. We booked in advance and were allocated a table at 5cm from the entrance door. Very unpleasant as each time some one enters, the wind hurts you. We were not yet served and a table in the centre of the restaurant became available. We asked to move and the answer was âno, we are fullâ. What?!? We booked as well and you are forcing us to stay in a freezy table...the food was ok but nothing extraordinary. But once you eat in uncomfortable situations and the attitude is so âLigurianâ...that does not matter. There are so many places around....
