Visited on a Tuesday evening about 30 minutes after opening. Took quite a while for anyone to pay attention to us being in their restaurant despite us having made a reservation. The covers for the menus were made out of old beer cartons, and a lot larger than the actual pages, so the menu took up a lot of space needlessly. One of our party's menu was also missing a page, so all in all not a very professional look. The starters were fine, the triple dip is recommended, but be aware that it's meant for sharing, since the menu doesn't mention this. The pizzas were okay, but didn't make the most of the produce they are very proud of, since they were a bit soggy and the dough needed a bit of salt. There were also several flies in the restaurant, which might be expected since it is located in a farm building, but is still not very pleasant. All in all, not really worth the trip since there are a lot of quality pizzerias in the area

Living in New York for most of my life, I have certainly eaten in many different Italian style restaurants serving all types of Pizza. Thick, thin, soft, mushy, runny, drippy and crispy.I prefer a fairly thin and crispy Pizza. Taveling to Sweden for over 35 years I find most Swedish Pizza to be fairly thin and having a mostly soft consistency. In early July 2014, I had the distinct pleasure to eat at Tangdala. It is not located in a business district but further out in a residential area. Actually in the front of a private home on a quiet street.Peter, the owner/chef is a pleasant and friendly fellow. We arrived around 5:45 on a Tuesday. The outdoor eating area was already 75% filled so get there early. They open at 5:00 pm.All the Pizza is baked in an outdoor homemade wood fired brick oven and Peter delivers each Pizza directly to your table. The old, folded hundreds of times, paper menus and handwritten drink list are worth the visit to this place.How does the Pizza taste? Very good compared to all other Swedish pizza I've eaten. Crispy with a good assortment of spices resulting in excellent flavor. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and the soft jazz music blowing in the warm breeze.Eating pizza while sitting in someone's front yard is a new and fun experience for us. I recommend this place and think you too will enjoy Tangdala. If you like onions on your pizza be sure to bring your own onion...Peter did not have any.And if you do go there, be sure to ask Peter about the NAKED Chef story.J.K.....NE2Q

This is a simple restaurant which in our opinion delivers on what it promises; pizza. We were seated outdoors in the warm afternoon, menues arrived quickly and we chose two different pizzas. Drinks arrived quickly, and there was not much waiting for the pizzas either. They were fresh and wellmade, with distinctive taste and thin, crunchy bottoms. Not a very memorable restaurant, but good food at good prices. We'll visit next time we're in Kivik.
