This is our go to spot. Recently took family there for a meal and they loved it too. The Antipasta platter was a great way to start the meal...even though it is a meal in itself. Lots of variety in it for sure. I normally get the Chicken Amalfi sandwich which is always amazing but tried the carbonara and that was fab too. The portion size was huge so I took half home and it was enough for dinner the next night too. Others in the group had the Tour of Italy and the Veal Parm and they were very happy with their choices too. Also loved the service as it wasnt rushed at all and allowed for conversion between courses and allowed you to enjoy each course rather than finishing one and more food being placed immediately in front of you. It's a smaller place to eat but still comfortable.

Every time I come to Kingston I try to make it to Pasta Shelf. Each meal I had has been delightful. Menu has lots of great pasta dishes and pizza options. My partner had rigatoni/meat sauce/meatballs and I had Linguine Chicken Tetrazzini. Both were accompanied by a lovely garlic bread. Portions are big and the prices reasonable. There is a huge takeout business. They have take out meals and a take and bake option. Decor is clean lines stainless steel. Itâs very modern diner~like. Parking is great. Service was good. Desserts looked amazing, but I didnât have room in my tummy for any more delicious goodness.

So. We were running 10 minutes late for our reservation due to parking. Took everyone ignoring us when we walked in. Obvious they were understaffed. They finally sat us at our table. Took our drink and appetizer orders. We got the drinks. But no appetizers. We got our mains. Ooops. So they offered us a free dessert. Accepted. But. Still wasnât impressed. The mains were yummy. We really werenât actually waited on till the place became less busy.

We were looking for somewhere to eat and my sister found positive reviews for Bella Bistro . It was fantastic from the atmosphere to the food. My niece ordered the chicken special, my sister the Bella burger with poutine, and I ordered the pepperoni pizza. It was six slices. I didn't see a personal size listed. It was so good I could've eaten the entire thing, but I took my leftovers with me. It rated up there in taste to me, similar to what I ate on a trip to Italy. Yes, that good IMO! Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. We were too full for dessert, but the menu was very appealing sounding.

Must have pizza in Kingston! For under $13 you can build your own pizza. You can choose as many toppings as you like. Perfectly thin crust to compliment your toppings. When it's cooked, you can also add balsamic or olive oil drizzle. Sometimes there are long line ups but their quick friendly service gets you through fast.

This little corner restaurant in a residential area of the historic Sydenham Ward in Kingston in close proximity of our beautiful downtown & waterfront is quite none descript and looking for something new to discover, a co-worker suggested we try this one out. Well ..... we were quite surprised, on a Wed. night at 5:00 I expected to walk in and have a choice of any seat in the "house" but instead were relieved to hear that someone had only minutes before, cancelled their reservation and were escorted to the last seats available. And I can understand why, the food was sensational and I can now say that this is one of my most favourite restaurants to sit back and let my pallete enjoy their interesting menu options ..... and their are many.
