Would not have been my first choice for pizza, but relatives had coupons and they were paying, so we had it. Called in for a carry out order, they could not remember my name, so I went with whatever they said my name was. No big deal though , the pizza was ready on time when we arrived and pick up was easy. We got the big dinner box and a stuffed crust cheese pizza. The kids at our place were stoked to get a stuffed crust and ate it all. The dinner box; we got pasta, breadsticks; cheese and beef pizza. It was all cooked perfectly, not greasy, burned or dried out - not to take a negative spin - but we were all surprised and really enjoyed it.
Food was good but felt overpriced. Spent nearly $20 on a thin 12â pizza and a fountain beverage. The style of pizza is so thin, that a 12â is basically a personal size. The restaurant is basically 100% self service. Just think that for lunch during the work week, at a self service restaurant, nearly $20 is kind of a lot. I miss when they had their pizza lunch special - that was a good deal and very filling!

Valentino's pizza is the very best. This place is huge. The buffet has many many choices to make that are not pizza. Salads were good and the dessert bar had numerous choices. The staff was very friendly and cleared the dirty dishes quickly. The prices are affordable with seniors getting a small discount. All the food tasted really good.

While staying in Kearney on a cross country trip we ordered a pizza for dinner. It arrived in good time, but was cold and had few toppings. We have had much better from Dominoes in the past and were disappointed with this experience. We were also disappointed to learn they had discontinued the Artisan Pizzas.
I was traveling through and wanted something more than the usual fast-food chains and narrowed my search down to two local breweries/pubs. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong one. While Platte Valley does have somewhat of a "Cheers" atmosphere, the lone bartender/server was overwhelmed on a Saturday night. The beer was good but the food service was bottom of the barrel. I initially tried to get a 6"inch personal pizza but was told that the pizza dough is frozen and their supplier didn't have enough today. OK. A little while later, I asked for a Cheesey Garlic Bread --- 6" not 12". Again, I was told that it was frozen and they were out. Seriously? You can't cut one in half? I think this spot overall with the TVs controlled by one guy sitting at the bar is really just a beer spot. Don't think about any reasonably tasty food here unless you bring your own from the grocery store. Sad! It could be such a good spot.
We watch sports at "Fans" and enjoy the atmosphere, the great chicken wings and the best homemade bar pizza in the area. Staff is always friendly and it doesn't have the loud noise like BWW has. You can actually enjoy the game on the big screens and talk to your friends.

A unique twist of rustic/modern industrial restaurant set right on the lake. Enjoy our all season indoor/outdoor space unlike any around. This Cunningham's Journal offers a varied menu with an emphasis on great burgers and grilled skewers but with somethi
I ordered a cheeseburger cooked âmediumâ . It was so burned that by the time I trimmed off the inedible portion my half pound burger had turned into a quarter pounder. Judge for yourself. I am a local customer and it will be a long time before I return.

Our son and family wanted to go to Old Chicago for dinner. They had eaten at an Old Chicago before - it was our first time. We had classic cheddar burgers, fries, sweet potato fries, kids pasta, and kids pizza. All the food was good. Our server, Molly, did a great job. We enjoyed our visit to Old Chicago.

We chose this place as our go to place was closed for renovations. While the place was not "filled up" we had to wait about 5 mins to be sat at a table. Our waiter was brusque, but I'm not sure if that is just his personality or if he was overstressed as it appeared that only he and one other person were working. We were asked for our drinks which were brought pretty quickly. The menu has a wide variety of inspired dishes. There are fancy 1/2 lb burgers, pizzas, calzones and pastas to chose. My one kid is a vegetarian, so it was nice that they had options for her. I think there were gluten-free options on the menu too.Our biggest complaint was the LOOONNNGGGG time we had to wait for food. We noticed that tables that ordered pizzas seemed to receive their food faster than we (we ordered 2 burgers and 1 pasta dish). We did find out that part of the problem with our order was that another table had an order similar to ours and the burger meant for my other girl was given to that table. However, by the time we were told this, we had been sitting for at least 30 mins and probably closer to 45! If I had another place to go or if the girls had been less forgiving, I'd have left. Now, in favor of the server, he did apologize profusely for the mix up (oh, which also included my burger being delivered with onions which I had specifically asked to not have so my burger also had to be remade) and eventually took 1 burger order off our ticket. Fair, yes, I think so. Enough to make me want to go back...not sure. Food was good, fries were powerfully flavored, so warning to those who like plain fries. I happened to love the extra flavor. My kid ordered the fries with truffle and garlic. She said they were super tasty.So...long wait, screwed up order vs tasty food which was served in a sizable quantity. It was spring break and maybe that affected their normal help? I don't know. Since I only seem to be in Kearney around spring break, it would make me think twice about going back. I'm still more miffed than happy.

Woodstone oven pizzas, calzones, salads served with wonderful craft brews.
We stopped here after reading good reviews and wanted something that wasn't a chain restaurant. Big selection of beers available. Menu was mostly pizza, and what we had was great. Definitely more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant. Our server was indifferent and had little personality. Good place if you're wanting something local and different.
