Very good family running restaurant with this touch of the proprietor attention when you look confused reading menu which I like very much. Very good selection of local seafood. And very tasty. Local wines. Not mention pizza which is, not surprisingly very good.

Great food (mainly seafood but also other options), very friendly and smiling staff, reasonable prices, and a lovely atmosphere. I'm a vegetarian and there were no options for me, but I spoke to the waiter and they prepared me something not on the menu. I really appreciated that, and it was delicious! My recommendation would be to get the chocolate trilogy on the dessert menu!

Whilst the spaghetti San Marco excelled the Fritto misto was only half the portion in the picture and of the previous two years we have visited. A little disappointing The staff need to revisit the charm school. They were very po faced and lacked any humourDoubt we will be returningDisappointed

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner after seeing good reviews online, but were seriously disappointed. Upon arrival we asked for a table for two, the staff were obviously struggling with how busy the restaurant was and took a while to seat us. After finally sitting down we were handed menus from a sour faced waiter who spoke only Italian (this is generally not a problem for us as we tend to travel in not so touristic places but she made no attempt to help us understand her, even although we clearly didn't understand anything she was saying). We then ordered and were served drinks relatively quickly, but were given no complementary bread etc that all other diners were receiving. After one hour of waiting and no arrival of food, we asked another waitress who told us there had been a problem with our order registering and that it would be out with us as soon as possible. The food came a few minutes later, however it was obviously flung together in a rush to get it to us, with undercooked inside and burnt outsides, my calzone was not edible. My boyfriend who had ordered a pizza shared his food with me, although much better than mine it was barely average by Italian standard and we had to add our own salt, pepper and oil to make it taste of anything! After our experience, we went inside to pay and were faced with a very snappy member of staff (again speaking only Italian as we offered both English and German - the popular foreign languages here). We asked if there is any way we could have a discount after our dining experience but were told in a snappy way no. We were eventually (and reluctantly by the staff) granted the discount for the price of the calzone only.We are generally not the type to complain and I understand that the staff were busy and frustrated (often arguing amongst themselves) but the attitude that we were met with was unacceptable. All in all one of the worst dining experiences of my life - AVOID AVOID AVOID!

I ate here with my family. I am gluten-sensitive and there were gluten-free spagetti, bread and salty biscuits as well. Finally I chose a Risotto with scampi and it was great choice & delicious. They have childâs menu, too. The staff was amazing and helpful. Dear "bed_m2015",We are very happy to read you appreciated our menu with gluten-free dishes and that you ate a delicious risotto. We are proud of our staff that you defined amazing and helpful. We want to thank you for your kind comment regarding our restaurant and we hope to host your family and you again in the future. Best regards from all the Acquamarina staff

We enjoyed 2 evening meals in this restaurants, both were very good . The calzone was absolutely huge and left no room for desserts. The "House" rose wine was very drinkable and I can understand why all the table were taken. There is a lively, busy atmosphere and the staff are talking to everyone at the same time "Very Italian" The price was very good value. On the second visit, we enjoyed the pasta with brie and speck and sadly there was no room for dessert.

Noticed this place as weâd passed a couple of times on an evening and it was always busy so thought weâd give it a go. Great welcome, seated quickly with a selection of bread brought to the table followed quickly by the drinks order. I chose a calzone pizza whilst my hubby had the spaghetti & meatballs. My only issue was that my pizza was brought out before the spaghetti meaning I had to start before my husband to avoid the food going cold. That said, both meals were tasty & good value - the only complaint from my husband was that there wasnât enough meatballs - this only said because the were so good!!Definitely one to try if youâre in the area

Food here was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious, the best pizza Iâve had in Italy so far. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was very quick. Wine was wonderful and cheap and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. It was very nice to watch the pizzas be cooked in front of you.
