Six of us arrived for dinner about 7.30 pm.I asked for a table for six , noticing that the restaurant was about half full.The man at the front desk threw his arms in the air and said come back in half an hour. He seemed really agitated.Coming back in half an hour would have clashed with people leaving the Menin Hate ceremony looking to eat.We went to the Captain Cook instead.It's not as if we are a rowdy bunch. Six blokes in our 60's and 70's.He lost about 150 euros of custom.

We visited while traveling with a group who were performing at the Menin Gate. The pizza was fantastic and even passed the test of my picky daughter (who only likes pizza from one famous pizza chain!). The staff were great even down to driving one of the group to hospital as she had fallen ill (before visiting the restaurant). I canât recommend this place enough.

We were looking for a place to eat, and when we saw the people lined up outside we decided to try this place. We ordered pizzas. Fast, friendly service, fresh ingredients, good value for the price. Cash payments only.
