The food here was fabulous. I had locally caught perch, not a fish that you would see on a British menu! It was a beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. The starters and deserts were excellent too. Prices reasonable, staff very friendly and bright cheerful surroundings. Well worth the short detour from the main road.

Cold fries. Cold Verdura Grigliata (grilled vegetables), a Tagliata that does not come as advertised and a schnitzel made from recycled flip flops. I truly couldn't believe that terrible service like this one does exist. We were done in 5minutes. Payment they "forgot" 10 euro in the change......(which they returned without discussion once noticed and asked for). The food is expensive. The quality is very very poor. = very ba value for money. Plenty of alternatives in the direct surroundings. Talking to the people in the village they all confirm our experience. The excellent reviews I see here have to be fake.

If you want a simple, well cooked and well presented meal overlooking the lake, look no further. Service is brisk and pleasant. Prices are reasonable and the food is of good, homemade, quality. There are tables outside both in sun and shade and a large indoor space as well as a bar area. Small selection of good local wines at sensible prices.

Just finished a fabulous meal at Pizzeria Bellavista.Excellent, prompt service. Beautiful thin crust pizza; decent size portions. Lovely tirimasu too. All at a reasonable price.Definitely recommend - excellent view of Lake Idro too.

The restaurant doesn't give great expectations when entering and that was exactly right. The pasta carbonara was too fat with bacon that wasn't baked right. The beef was off poor quality with too much tough pieces inside. Too bad since the ladies running the place really did their best. Another family chose pizza and we heard them saying it was very nice. So maybe we had just bad luck. If you go there, it's my advice to try the pizza.

We stayed in Vesta on the same street as the restaurant. A bit off if you're not staying in the area, but every night it was a full house. For 2 reasons; it being the only restaurant in Vesta (sauf a snack bar near the beach) and its food.During a two week period we had lunch twice and dinner 3 times. The pasta is fresh, the thin crust pizzas large and dessert was served in large portions as well (the gelato that is). The dish from Lombardy is casoncelli, a good Italian restaurant will have it on the menu and usually with its own twist. La Pentolaccia had an amazing casoncelli. Absolutely recommendable. And good value for money with a good plate of pasta being around â¬7,-. Staff speaks English, some better than others. Paying is a challenge; only 1 person (probably the owner) is allowed near the cash register. And still everything is counted by hand. Good to dubblecheck the bill!

I ate at this restaurant with my girlfriend on a Fiday night , I found it a good italian restaurant serving good and fine food . Bot my "tagliata" and my girlfiend "trota" were well prepared and tasted really good. We apreciated the beer Estrella Inedit , not so easy to find usually , but in our view a very pleasant taste. The bill was in line with other restaurants of such a quality and location

Risotto alla trota e salmerino di lago! Delicious and tasty. Even though the location looks a bit old fashioned, the food is great and the beer superb!

IT looked motorcycle inspired so I stopped for water and coffee. The place looked cozy but I did not stay long before going outside for some photos of the beautiful lake in the gorgeous weather.

This is Italy as it used to be.Genuine, simple authentic.We were there with a couple of friends and two kids. Service was speedy smiling and prompt. Pizza very good, even with a no gluten option available, pastas al dente and fresh, tiramisù and meringata desserts savory and delicious.The atmosphere is friendly very informal and somewhat relaxing.Prices are Very low.Italy as it used to be.
