We enjoyed a late lunch at Ved and were surprised that we had food quality food and good service a bit after ordinary lunch hours.We had Gambas - so goodand Carpaccio- enjoyable To this wine and Norrland beer.really a good late lunch.

We were looking for somewhere for a drink in Hornbaek. La Vera seems to be a fairly basic café with quite a few outdoor tables located very close to the beach. It is quite basic - nothing smart. Yet the drinks were not too expensive and the service was friendly.

Popped in on a Tuesday night and found the restaurant with a good buzz and people at every other table. I visited the same owner at his earlier restaurant in Humlebaek, and this was clearly a step forward on the location and facilities. Impeccable table decoration. Got a simple paste dish (Aglio Olio et Pepperoncino), which was tasty with perfectly cooked pasta. Nice wine came along and the whole experience was excellent. I can recommend this restaurant for a place to return to more often than the more pricy neighbor, and with a bit of Lady and the Tramp feeling to it ;-)

Very impressing Italian pizzas made in wooden fired oven. The restaurant is brand new but founded by some very experienced people. Go there, even if you have to drive an hour.
