Roma Antica is located at the far end of the Main Street in Hook of Holland. It is a typical neighbourhood Italian restaurant which seems to have a loyal customer base and friendly atmosphere. The menu is a standard Italian with pastas, meat dishes and pizzas. There were 3 of us and we had spaghetti bolognese, veal in a lemon sauce and a pizza margharita. All were very good. If you are looking for a place to eat before the ferry this fits the bill.
Needed somewhere pleasant, my daughters are big fans of Italian food generally. Nice interior , clean, menu fairly standard fare. We had standard meals lasagne, Bolognaise, cabanarra all were fine but not anything special, so food was average in nice interior , lovely waitress. Prices were E12.50 ish per main, good bar selection handy for ferry , free street parking nearby.

Top 3 Chinese food in Hoek van Holland, South Holland Province, The Netherlands
We called in for dinner on the way to catch our ferry back to the uk and this was a lovely end to our holiday. Most of the rest of the town seemed to be closed or closing and it was very quiet. The waitress was really friendly and did great helping us with the menu, which is extensive! Loads of pizzas and pastas to choose from. The pizzas were amazing and the salad was good too. The restaurant was clean and tidy and relaxing. There was more than we could eat and so they packaged up the rest for us to take home. Would recommend to anyone!
