Very appealing look to this cafe. Big wooden tables and floorboards- all very Bo-Ho! Man serving behind the counter really looks the part. Heâs very confident and gives a great service. The food was impressive. Dark, crusty baguettes filled with artichoke and other roasted veg, feta cheese and olives. A banana bread cake with walnuts was homemade and tasted incredible. With this we had coffee.Very glad dogs are welcome.Iâm looking forward to coming back soon.

Wow. One of the best meals we have had for a while. Delightful ambiance and very friendly and attentive staff - Anne, Alfredo and Monica. A real old fashioned trattoria with lovely menu choices and our meal was excellent. My partner is a Head Chef and he thought the lamb dish was one of the best he'd had in years served on hot plate and also the vegetables were served by the waiting staff - how refreshing. Will be back very soon.10 out of 10.

Had delivery last night. Was presently surprised that it arrived earlier than what the Just Eat app stated. Our last take away from here i thought that the only thing missing was kebabs. I was very pleased to see they now serve kebabs. My large donor with chilli sauce & homemade coleslaw was delicious. My husband only had one negative comment. Itâs a shame that the pizza base on the small pizza & the garlic bread were different. The garlic bread dough is much nicer than the slightly cardboard style one on his small Hawaiian Chips were cooked perfectly & piping hot compared to Browns at Sommerford

Staff and service was fine. We had a drink in this glitzy pub in an historic part Christchurch.First time I stayed in Christchurch for many years .Visited toilet before I left the soho and was shocked to see such crass and demeaning pictures of women on the wall ......made me wonder what type of person is managing this place !

The Kitchen provides an informal dining experience with an open plan layout offering you the chance to watch the Chefs at work. The a la carte menu features wood-fired pizzas, gourmet burgers, superfood salads and much more.
Booked for a early Sunday evening meal,, I have dined here before and I love the professional but not over the top pomp service that you sometimes receive in upmarket restaurants,,, the young dark haired attractive foreign lady who looked after our table was very courteous, professional and attentive,, definitely an asset to this team,, the food was delicious and I totally enjoyed my fish and chips, my only small gripe would be that I thought that the sticky toffee pudding was a touch chewy,, but I'm picking because in another establishment I wouldn't judge it so harshly,,, when a chef like James Martin is associated with this establishment, you automatically raise the goal posts of expectations, (added pressure for the chef's but good for the customer), from my observations of the kitchen I'd say they are doing him proud, Dear charliemC6318ZR,Thank you very much for your recent visit at The Kitchen at Chewton Glen.We are delighted to see that you found the food excellent and the service exceptional. By your description our waitress Jana looked after your table. I passed your compliments about the service to her. Our head chef, Adam takes your comment in account. Thank you very much for your honest feedback which helps us to improve our quality of service. We are looking forward to serve you again at our restaurant. Maybe on the 12th of November when James is here, too ;)Warm regards,Gabor TresoRestaurant [email protected]
