Finlands first pizzeria Napoletana located in the heart of Helsinki.
Looked at the review at Tripadvisor for pizza restaurants in Helsinki and decided to eat at Pizzeria Via Tribunali because of good reciews, but (probably) because I was single I was seated at a some kind of singles table row (i suppose), unfortunately that row for singles was facing and near the pizza oven, very hot and not comfortable, left without ordering. Not recomended for singles at least.

Trying to find a best pizza in Helsinki. Ended up eating in Skiffer. Place was a bit difficult to find. Close to the center, But in quieter area. We were greeted friendly and even the place was quite full, there was place for us (we didnt had a reservation). Ordered the âmeatâ pizza. Crust was really thin and crisp. I liked it very much. Meat on my pizza was delicious, like slices of kassler steaks. Flavours were in my taste. Service was fast. I was hoping a bit more attention, But the place was full and waiters had their hands full. Anyways pizza was excellent, a bit different from normal selection of Finnish pizzas, that was What we were looking for. Quite expensive though. Enjoyed it. Good for customers looking a special gourmet pizza in Helsinki. (Signature beer was worth Tasting as well).

This restaurant is located by Töölö Market Square in Central Helsinki. Over the years, I have been a fairly frequent visitor, both business and pleasure. During my recent visit, however, a lot was left for improvement.I arrived shortly after the lunch hour, which was no problem, as I was presented a âhappy hourâ pizza menu for the afternoon diners. The waitress disappeared quickly without giving me a possibility to discuss the details on the menu let alone to order for a starter drink. In an empty restaurant they paid mor attention to clean up the tables after the finished lunch hour. These should have been cleaned already well before the late afternoon/evening diners arrive!I dis get my ordered pizza promptly, though, but had to continue to catch the staffâs attention for my wine order. When I asked for the bill, and gave them the Finnish equivalent of Luncheon Vouchers, to be deducted from the total, another waiter arrived with the card terminal and tried to charge me for the gross to talk of my meal, without the value of LVâs deducted. I promptly complained, and pointed out to the two waitresses now at my table that they should communicate more between each other. Unfortunately the service level of this traditional Töölö restaurant has gone down, and calls for improvement.

Cozy, Family style Italian Restaurant. Located in Heart of Toolo, just next to Opera House and Stadium.
I have enjoyed many excellent lunches in Trattoria Sogno, and now we tried the restaurant for dinner date with my partner. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. We booked the table, but we were able to choose from a couple of options on Tuesday evening in October (i.e. the restaurant had not booked one of the nicest table spots for us). We shared mixed plate of Italian antipasti, which was delicious. For main course we had pizza and risotto, and they were good, but nothing special. Risotto had a bit too many flavours mixed for my taste. For desert we had tiramisu, which was good but too cold to fully enjoy flavours. After antipasto service was extremely slow, and we spent there almost 3hours on a quiet Tuesday evening. We were served in total of three different waiters/waitresses, and we needed to wait for every single thing and it was difficult to make contact with personel. We needed to ask for more water, for clean cutlery (they took those away after cleaning the table after antipasto, but never brought clean ones before the main course) - things that should be automatic. Moreover, the first waiter did not even know what portions included; my partner asked what a dish ihcluded and the reality was different than he told us, which meant my partner needed to order new portion, and I was eating a half of my main course by myself. Waiter did never come to apologize this and was acting very weird all the time, he hardly talked (i.e. he just came next to our table and was waiting us to speak). Another waitress told us he was new, but at least you should train your waiters properly before letting them work independently..

We went to Il Trio for a Father's Day dinner and chose a menu. The taste was quite OK, but the price above average. The pizzas from here would be a safer choice. The personnel is nice and the the restaurant is child friendly.
