This is a great little pizza shop. They typically send coupons out in the mail as well. We like their salads, pepperoni pizza, and their blt pizza. Their blt is different from other places because they have more lettuce and no top crust. We really like their version of it! They do have a pick up window which is nice as well.

The owner Dan Vaia is personable and he and his staff make great pizza. For over 20 years Dan's offers a bacon-lettuce-tomato (BLT) pizza. There are two crusts with a delicious middle. Customers re-visit his restaurant to buy this and other great pizza. Other pizza shops open nearby with two-for-one deals just because the traffic his restaurant draws.Inside there is a full-service restaurant in addition to the carry-out pizza. As corny as it is he has a fried bologna sandwich! It is a slice of the Newark area if ever there is one. Lots of locals hang out here during lunch and dinner. When we return to Newark to visit we make a visit to see Dan and enjoy his great BLT pizza.

For many years Don & Sueâs Pizza was one of my favorite pizza shops in the county, and the original pizza shop was passed down from father to son, and it continued to produce very good pizza until about two years ago. Iâm not sure if they changed supply vendors or what happened, but the flavor and quality went downhill quickly, and about a year ago they went out of business. About a month ago it was reopened under new owners. Last weekend I attempted order a pizza by phone, and the girl who answered asked me if I could hold, and I said yes, and she laid the phone on the counter as she attended to an in-house customer⦠I waited for nearly 5-minutes and I finally gave up. Last night I decided to visit the shop in person and dine in. The facility had been remodeled, and they have added a 10 to 12 seat bar, which serves a variety of 12 draught beers, bottled beer, and wine coolers⦠the previous owners offered no alcohol sales. I ordered my pizza at the counter and then sat at the bar. The bar had no full-time bartender, and you had to rely upon the pizza makers to notice you at the bar, and they would come to serve you. The pizza took about 20 minutes. The flavor was good and was similar to the original âgoodâ Don & Sueâs pizzas, although this recipe was very salty, but still a very good pizza. Parking at the shop is a nightmare, and with the addition of the bar, Iâm sure more people will eating in rather that carry-out, which will make the parking even worse. I talked to the owner and he is considering opening another shop for delivery only.

I never was sure why Newark and Heath's locations taste so different from Pickerington. They have no flavor here but a tomato paste after taste.Very dry pizza as well.
Staff was on average to borderline rude, walked in greeted then they spoke to each other who was next to clean up tables and set customers (I don't care to here this) seated order taken waitress comes out 15 or so minutes later and advised cook did not do as we had instructed for pizza either we could wait again and the would redo or she would discount so discount it was even with discount pizza was not good, stuffed bacon and cheese crust was lacking in flavor back tasted like the fake ones from a bottle. Yuck! I would not recommend going.

Grabbed a quick lunch here while in town on business. Orders are taken at the counter then someone will bring your food to your table. The place was very small....maybe 10 tables at the most. Very busy but that doesn't surprise me after the quality of the food. Big portions for a reasonable price.

We decided to take advantage of the Monday March Madness special. Wings for .25¢. We had a party of 8. We waited 30 minutes to get seated which is understandable with that large of a group. Seated at 6:20pm. We wanted to take advantage of Happy Hour but we sat there and sat there and no one came to get our drink order. About 15 minutes later the waitress finally acknowledges that we are there. By the time she finally gets around to getting our drink order it's past 7:00pm. Manager was suppose to come and talk to us but he never did. We wait another 15 minutes to get our drinks and to put in our order. We wait and wait and wait. Drinks are running out and no food. Finally the wings come and that's it. No fries, no appetizers, and no refills. 10 minutes go by and here comes the fries. One member of our party had ordered a Stromboli and it came a 1/2 hour after we got our wings. Refill on drinks came after we were just about finished eating. I realize that they were busy but if you know your business is going to be busy please add more people. Management should had stepped up and helped more. The hostess was just seating people. Maybe they could have helped. Several tables came in after us and they ate and left before us. Things just weren't executed that well. The total time spent was 2 hours and 25 minutes. The food was good but the service wasn't!

Visited for lunch while on a business trip. The place offers a a inch of tvâs. Bar/pub type atmosphere but a step up perhaps. Food was very good and service was as well. It was very crowded for lunch so must be a go to for locals. Pub type menu with some extras. Extremely large menu as well.

This was my first time here and I was very disappointed in the pizza. There is a beautiful stone/brick oven in the restaurant. When I saw that I thought to myself, wow, this should be good. Well we ordered the Margherita Pizza. I specifically asked the waitress if they had fresh basil and garlic and she said yes. It certainly did not have anything fresh on it. Dried up basil? from a shaker. No garlic. Chewy cheese like rubber. The sauce was very bland. If I hadnât been so hungry and with a friend I would have sent it back. Needless to say, I will never order a pizza there again. Especially at $12.99. The frozen pizza from Kroger is 10 times better! On a lighter note, the Greek salad was really good. Also, No fresh lime for beer. Probably wonât go back. Not very handicap friendly. I think there were two small tables close to the oven. Everything else you have to step up to.
