Went to the restaurant after golfing in the area based on TripAdvisor review. The menu has lots of different items. We were welcomed by the owners and offered a seat immediately even though the restaurant was busy. My wife and I ordered a Greek salad, a small pizza and a pasta dish (shrimp marinara) to share. The salad was probably the best greek salad I have tasted. The pizza was terrific and the pasta sauce was wonderful. Prices were extremely reasonable. We will definitely come back and eat here when we are in the area.

Pizza by the slice was big and pretty tasty. Hubby got a calzone. Came burned on the bottom. No free refills on anything. Waitress screwed up our orders. What changed. Chicken parm sub had pieces of gross chicken in it. What happened...this place was always ur GO TO place...

Friday night pizza, so we went to a familiar brand. Pizza was good,, prices were high and service was poor,,, staff were friendly enough but organised poorly. Iâm probably being unfair as it was busy and I was grouchy but the pizza was good which is the important thing.
We're comparing apples to apples, in this case, a pizza parlor to other pizza parlors and not Italian fine dining venues; with this as a criterion, Pizzano's in Haines City rates highly. The pizza is very good, as well as Italian specialties like veal parmesan; you can count on man-size portions served with a generous amount of pasta and a special type of bread. I've eaten here at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed. As the name of the parlor implies, the specialty are the "grinderz", a cross between a calzone and hero sandwich: I describe it as a huge baked sandwich. My favorite is the Italian meats grinderz, but you can have a choice of a dozen flavors, among which are steak&cheese, chicken parmesan, bbq beef, etc., etc. Each grinderz easily feeds two or one huge appetite. The restaurant seats about 40 people. but you can order for take-out or local home delivery. Pizzas in all combos, depending on size and toppings, sell from $4 to $17; Italian platters are $7 or $8 - a bargain for the taste and quantity you get! Grinderz sell for $5 and $8 - again, a great bargain. To top all this, Pizzano's has very pleasant cashiers taking your order and cooks who aim to please if you make a special request.

First off the service was good for understaffed. Phone rang a lot with nobody answering it. Food was fine, not outstanding. Kitchen is slow on the second pizza.. ?Building is old and dark. It is the type of place you take kids and let them run all over.Loud noises from the kitchen. ( yelling to pick up the phone, and a constant rumble )Next time I take out!
