Come for the pizza but not for the atmosphere. The tables are jammed on top of each other and the noise level is incredible. There are a few other items on the menu besides pizza but stick with that and you can't go wrong.

Presto's is a friendly local pizza restaurant serving very good Italian specialties as well. We visited for lunch and had eggplant parm, pasta fagolie, grilled chicken over tri-colored salad, all of which were prepared perfectly. Parking lot in the rear & BYO.

After the recent renovations, we were worried about the changes to Lido. The results were mixed....- DECOR: They did a great job making the restaurant look slightly brighter, cleaner, more fresh. Minor changes... but keeping the old-school styling everyone is familiar with and most enjoy.- FOOD: The meat-eaters were happy with the steak sandwiches. Sounds like they are the same. The rest of us were mostly happy with the pizza (some came out a bit less well done than we like- perhaps due to the "back log" and long wait for pies that they warned us about upon sitting down). The menu itself is a mixed bag. They removed a few items (soup for one), and I guess they added a few items. Nothing new on the menu we were excited to try. It would have been nice to see something new & intriguing additional items, but no big deal. The most important thing though is that no favorites were removed, and they weren't.The one thing everyone agreed on is that the french fries went downhill and were bad. Not nearly as good as before. Not sure why.- SERVICE: This was the nightmare today. It took longer than the estimate to get seated, which is not surprising. Not a big deal (somewhere over 30min).BUT- once we were seated, it was a struggle to order items and get items. Since we were really hungry, we ordered drinks and a few pizzas for the group to snack on as soon as the waitress came over after sitting. It took nearly as long to get a few soft drinks as it did to get the pizzas that were supposed to take a long time. (No joke- I think it took 15min to get some drinks and maybe 30 min to get the rest). Then- the real insanity began: After asking to place our orders at least twice, we were kept waiting again and again. I dont think we put our actual orders in until nearly an hour in! Then, of course, the pizzas that were supposed to take forever, and kinda did... showed up LONG before the actual entrees. (Actually- they started coming out before the actual orders for entrees were even TAKEN !!) So- some people had their food before others, and some people were completely done eating before others had even had the chance to order!! A disaster in terms of timing. They clearly don't have their legs under them in terms of staff. After asking one server who was helping our M.I.A. waitress if we could order... he asked me in the strangest way if I wanted HIM to take our order (I really didnt understand his tone, was it an inconvenience?) He walked away without taking the orders, and we didnt see our actual server for at least ten more minutes. Later, the same guy was heard nearly shouting, halfway across the restaurant, talking to other servers, about how we refused to giving him back the grated cheese?? We told him we were still using it. (actually were were shuttling it back it forth across a table of 10 every minute or two since they only left us one). Some really odd behavior. Worst service we've had there in the last few decades. We were at the restaurant for nearly 3 HOURS!! That was a problem. That said- we hope they learn the ropes, re: service, quickly. And thankfully the food is (mostly) still what we have come to expect.

When in Ft Lee stop by, we ordered the eggplant parm with linguini and it was yummy. It was greasy or over salty. My husband had the spaghetti carbonara with chicken, another great choice. And for dessert don't forget the cannolis, just the right amount of sweet.

On a recent Sunday, we went to Taste of Tuscany, for a very casual (lunch) business meeting. I would like to thank my fellow business associates for taking me to this "local neighborhood restaurant"...Do yourself a favor and stop in & try Taste of Tuscany! This restaurant/pizzeria has a great menu selection. I had the Veal Parm Sub along with an order of Broccoli sauteed in Garlic & oil,and it was very good. I did not have the pizza, but it looked good & delicious. I will give the pizza a try on the next stop there! Located in a strip center in Hackensack, it's very accessible (not too far from route 46) with plenty of parking. The wait staff service was fast and polite and all the food was cooked to order, served hot & fresh as it should be.The restaurant, as well as the restrooms were very clean at the time of our visit. This is a great little restaurant for a quick reasonable meal! Plain and simple.... Good Food & Good Prices. Overall Rating~ Very Good!
