The photos on TripAdvisor donât do this lovely restaurant justice. It really is a very pleasant place to enjoy a meal. We ate outdoors but inside is a pleasant space too. We walked past it one lunchtime and, as all the outside tables were full, we decided to come back that evening. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. Although not extensive the menu offers pizzas that are a little bit different to the âusualsâ. I had the âPizza Luzzoâ which was amazing, carmelised pineapple, portobello mushrooms and bacon. Hubby went for the âMiss Piggyâ pepperoni, bacon and peppers and he was licking his lips after it. Both pizzas were about â¬11 each. We had a very drinkable bottle of vino verde (â¬9.50) and two coffees to wash it all down. A competitively priced meal in a lovely setting just across from the main square in Guimarães. I highly recommend it.

We had lunch here. The pasta was nicely al dente. The chicken in the 'chicken pasta' dish was 2 nice sized breast pieces, not shredded, great tasting brown mushroom sauce. The octopus salad had a nice amount of octopus in it. PLUS, when we arrived in town the day before, with a malfunctioning phone sim card, the proprietor or head waiter? used his cell phone to call our hotel for directions for us. Very friendly and helpful even though they were all very busy. This is what makes Portugal great. The people!

Friendly place with excellent pizzas. Very animated place, at least a Saturday evening, where people come for take away as well as eating in. The pizzas were thin with a crispy crust - we just loved them. Four vegetarian versions to choose among, but the others can be modified as well.
