There were 4 of us (all adults) who were visiting the Arch & were looking for a place within walking distance. This place was behind the courthouse & not far at all.We were seated promptly (but the hostess wasn't too happy for some reason b/c she put our menus on the table & left w/o any welcome greeting or telling us who our server was). Server was prompt in arrival & made a couple suggestions for us since we were looking for local cuisine (Italian or BBQ). I opted for a small pizza (10") which was thin crust (which I like) & a small house salad. Both were delicious (& I couldn't finish the pizza so I had some to take back). No military discount (strange). Place was quaint & not fancy but made us feel comfortable since we were not dressed up. There is a full bar which was quite full for a Wednesday night.I would eat there again if in the area.

Excellent Italian restaurant located "on the hill" in the well known Italian neighborhood. Excellent casual atmosphere. Took my mother there for Mother's Day. The homemade ravioli were large and excellent. My wife had the grilled salmon pasta. My mother had the meatball pasta. I had the Volpi sausage pasta. All were excellent. The staff was very attentive to all. Our waitress Jennifer was excellent. We will be going back for sure.
It was after 9 p.m. and haven't eaten pizza in a while so order pizza over the phone. They would not deliver to the hotel so input the address in the gps and was there within five minutes. The pizza included three topping for under 9 dollars which I thought it was a good price took back to the hotel and between me and my spouse we swallow this pizza. It was tender soft and most all delicious.
If you haven't tried Granite City Pizza World, then you haven't had great pizza-at least, that's what patrons of the pizzeria will tell you. Located in Illinois, this family owned and operated pizza company has been serving up the state's best pizza pies
I ordered pizza tonight from Pizza World for the first time in ages for a family gathering. I found some great coupons online and took advantage of the deals. For $25 purchased 2 medium specialty pizzas and a large pepperoni. All were very good. My sisters love the Via Bianca but I thought the Grecian Gourmet was the real standout. A note on this -I substituted banana peppers for green peppers which gave it a much more Greek salad type of vibe. I called ahead and was told I didn't need to print out and bring in the online coupons, which I really appreciated. Pizzas were ready when I arrived and the service both over the phone and in person was good.

A large group of us came by unannounced for lunch before our conference started. They kindly set up a long row of tables and took our drink orders. I had the Pi which was delicious! We designed a variety of pizzas and they were great! Wish we had a Pi Pizzeria at home in Massachusetts. Definitely recommend!
