For a fantastic pizza this is the place to go. Forget the starters and puddings. This is not a gourmet restaurant, it's unpretentious and great for families. Go early or book as it's always busy.

We are going to Cambius every time we are in Italy. It's a great place with excellent food and very friendly service. The owner is doing excellent pizzas himself :)the service is always great and friendlyyou will not regret itbetter to book though as they are quite often full

A lovely family run restaurant tucked away in the back streets of Pallanza. There's certainly no view of the lake but this is made up for by the homely nature of the restaurant. Good choice of well cooked food. I had the minestrone soup followed by sea bass with vegetables, both cooked to perfection. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her spaghetti with clams and shrimps. The panna cotta was up to Master Chef (UK TV programme) standards. Very good choice of reasonably priced wine.A nice touch was the husband and wife owners coming to have a chat with us at the end of the meal. Not fine dining, but a really good meal enjoyed by us both.Very reasonably pricedWould happily return.

There is a minigolf, a miniature golf and a table golf. They come with a restaurant. It has a large outdoor dining area with a simple roof. There is a table football that does not cost money for the kids.Food is excellent, both pizza and risotto. There are 50 plus pizzas to chose from.We went with a group and everybody liked the food a lot. There is only one criticism I have - the toilet is really substandard, both the substance and the cleanliness.

Great local restaurant with fantastic pizza, very good service and very reasonably priced food! We ordered twice to take out and enjoyed our meals on the lake from the house we rented. It was fast and delicious!

I've been there for lunch. I had linguine allo scoglio and as soon as I saw the dish I noticed the tomatoes were not ciliegini but the ones used for salad! Reminded me the way chinese use to cook. In fact the chef was chinese. The flavour of tomatoes was acid like if they had poured wine on them during the cooking instead of pouring it only on the fish. And I think there was a little glutammate too. This is not the italian way of cooking. My husband had tagliatelle funghi porcini I think th re was glutammate in them too.

La Lampara restaurant is located just on the street direction Cerro. It's a traditional trattoria with a daily menu during lunch time. we really appreciated the authenticity and the flavour of the homemade cooking. We visited the restaurant during lunch where a 12 euros set lunch was offered. We highly recommend it. Fresh, fast and inexpensive. The menu included house-wine, water, first course, main course and coffee. Honest price. The restaurant didn't offer a pizza service during lunch time, we don't know if it was a temporary disservice or an internal policy. The atmosphere was not memorable. Clean environment but lack of soul. Since it has no view and decorated with a lot of pics, we suggest to patronise it as a daily regular meal purpose instead of a special occasion venue. The service was fast and efficient.

Pizza at this place is to die for. The view is fantastic and friendly staff make it a no brainier to stop by. Parking right in front of the restaurant also makes it easily accessible.

We went to Nonno Grillo twice for dinner during our trip to Lake Maggiore because it was close to our apartment. It is family friendly with high chairs, fast service, and amazing italian food including the Pizza. We tried both the Quattro Formaggio and Margarita, and there were so many others to choose from. The shrimp cocktail and fondue type roasted veggie with cheese sauce appetizer were delicious. Prices for antipasta and pizza were under 10 euros. There were many other first and second courses to try as well. Check it our if you are in the Arizzano or Verbania area!

Their pizza dough is fantastic! Just like an Italian pizza should be! Will go back for sure.Their mussles (impepata di cozze) are also very good. Quite hot I must say, but the sauce was so good I simply tamed it down with a drink.Very friendly and attentive staff.Peaceful and fresh surroundings.I would highly recommend it.
