dopo averlo trovato una prima volta per caso ed essere rimasti ben impressionatici siamo tornati apposta un giovedì sera di ritorno da alcuni giorni al mare.Ci siamo seduti nel giardino che è ben curato ed allestito, anche se forse un pò più di luce non guasterebbe.Una margherita per antipasto, due grigliate di pesce decisamente abbondanti e ben fatte, patate fritte, acqua minerale ed un buon bianco fermo, ⬠46,00 più che onesti.Servizio veloce ed essenziale.Ci torneremo sicuramente

Cibo ottimo e portate abbondanti...dall'antipasto a tutto il resto...passando per le pizze.Solo il servizio è ancora 'giovane'..ma crescerà ...Da provare assolutamente.

I've been there from my campsite in Marina di Grosseto after a long way in the middle of the beautiful wild landscape of Maremma's hills.Once there, i realized that surely only Trip Advisor is able to lead me in an anonymous village like Tirli, nothing to highlight but is position in the middle of woods (the owner introduced the place with a "be careful to wild boars when you come back").The place is nice, popular (a lot of local people among the customers), the staff is incredibly friendly and informal, I've liked so much.The food is quite (!) good: I've especially appreciated the second course with wild boar meat and the dessert. A little bit poorer the fried vegetables as appetizer, not very good the roast pork meat.Very good the wine, fragrant and strong, remarkable the water in the jug (from the public aqueduct, I presume).I got a pizza for my daughter and it was good.The average cost was 25 euro per person.

Awesome awesome awesome! Amazing staff, food and location. Can not recommend highly enough. Chef and lady at front of house were lovely. Also young waitress who was our translator was lovely.

Locale molto semplice , atmosfera di una volta , buona accoglienza , tagliere di salumi misti e crostini come antipasto nella norma , tortelli di tipo eccessivamente grande che trattengono allâinterno troppa acqua di cottura , carne per secondo non male , vino della casa orribile , aveva un certo spunto , servizio lento e un poâ assente , forse per scarsità del numero di addetti .

This is a great place to have a friendly and nice dinner. This place has seating in and out door. The service is friendly. The place is running by the third generation, while the person making the pizza is fourth generation. Wine is not an issue, you can have the house wine or other good selection. You can share the food if you wish. The pricing is very reasonable, and Caldana is a great place to be.

I had had a very good and reasonably priced meal at this restaurant earlier this year so decided to go again. We booked a table for 3 and a small dog at 20:30 arrived and were shown a table in their rather unattractive terrace. We asked to sit in the main restaurant which had only had one other occupied table. We were then asked whether the dog peed and having said no not in doors were sat down and were given menus. Twenty five minutes later, in spite of a waitress passing numerous times we left never having been asked whether we even wanted a drink. I can only assume the management has changed.

The Pizzeria / Osteria is worthwhile to visit. We spent a nice evening and had Pizzas and some primi/secondi piatti. The restaurant was very full and we waited a long time for the service. The kithen seems to be understaffed. The pizzaiolo came out later the evening an apologized for the delays. The white pizza with truffels is delicious and the other pizzas are also very tasty.

This is the best restaurant in maremma without a doubt. It is located in the charming town of Scarlino. The setting in the restaurant allow you to conduct a conversation. The wine selection is an heaven for any person who appreciate good wine. The food, what can you say about an amazing selection of ingredients, fantastic preparation and cooking, and very nice presentation. Simply the best. The service was great with the attention for details. This is a restaurant that should be on the must visit list of any person who travel in this area.

I need to admit that our expectations were quite high after reading the reviews here. Unfortunately they were not met. The pizza is quite good and the pasta isn't bad either. The fish (spigola) was nothing special. But the ambiance and the friendly service were making up a bit.Not a bad place to go over all but there are better options around.
