While we live closer to this location, we normally choose to drive to the Lillington Pizza Hut due to past bad experiences at this location (several yrs ago...hadn't been back). But we needed to go to another store in town & decided to try it again (thinking, surely it's improved over the yrs). Well, let's just say we won't be back! Waited almost 10 minutes for drinks & after 45 minutes we finally went to the counter to ask when our order would be ready. We got our breadsticks shortly thereafter & the pizza another 5 minutes later. 50 min to get pizza! So I know you're wondering how crowded it was...there was one table of four with their pizza when we arrived and that was it! The waitress didn't have a fast bone in her body. We had to ask to get drinks refilled. We had to ask to get our table cleaned after we sat down. She finally brought plates to the table & 3 of 5 plates were dirty so she had to go & get clean ones. The only thing positive about the visit was the food. It was standard Pizza Hut, which we love!
We were heading home and decided to grab a late lunch/early dinner. My ham and cheese sub was awesome. My husband had the philly cheese steak and it was also awesome (we shared). We would definitely eat here again if we were passing through Fuquay Varina.

We purchased pizzas for house moving party. We purchased 3 large pizzas - cheese, pepperoni and meat lovers and 1 pan medium hamburger and pepperoni. The pizza was OK. It was ready for pickup as expected. However th pizza was light on sauce. It dried out quickly and did not reheat well.

I don't understand the bad reviews here for Milano Pizza. I have been going to Milano Pizza since 1997. It is located in a hard to get to old historic house in Fuquay-Varina with updates with additions for more seating space. As a busy Engineer, I eat our every day of the week, but still need to eat healthy. I have lunch here approximately two times per week now, because I need less processed food and more fresh salad in my diet. For me this is the best salad deal I can find in the area, and that includes the salad by weight grocery stores. I have found that for a buffet and my diet choice of water to drink, the approximately $6.50 + $1 tip or $7.50, it can't be beat. The pizza and spaghetti on the buffet are a plus. The desert chocolate chip pizza is the best anywhere. It is basically a one woman run business where she prepares the food, cooks and serves the pizza and her husband, when not working elsewhere, children when not in school and a friend occasionally help. After they added a divider on Sunset road it is harder to get into, so you have to be going the right way, go up and turn around or come in the back way through the adjoining restaurants or shopping center parking lots. Some reviews complain about the lack service, and yes as a sole proprietor it is pretty calm. Since I'm going for the buffet, I can take care of myself, and know to wait for various pizzas to come out or can go wait at cash register and make a special request. However if you consider the care, expertise, and freshness in every slice of cucumber, onion, pepper and tomato it is a secret gem in NC to me. Seriously after a week in the New Orleans French Quarter with my choice of restaurants, I am happy to be back at place that is glad to see you, with fresh healthy food.
Had dinner here with the family on a weeknight. Looks like it would be equal business between carryout and dine in. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and efficient. Pizza and breadsticks were prepared fresh in a reasonable amount of time and tasted good. Worth checking out if in the area.
What to do and see in Fuquay-Varina, United States: The Best Places and Tips
This 'take & bake' concept is new to us, I admit. We'd driven past this place a hundred or more times since it opened, thinking we need to give it a try. But honestly, I was a tad skeptical...wondering about the quality of the product, the potential mess in the oven, etc. Well, we finally tried it last weekend and I am kicking myself now for not doing this earlier! They pile on the ingredients, which are fresh and prepared daily in the store. The pizzas come on a special tray that goes with the pizza into the oven, so we had zero mess! Pizzas are covered with shrink-wrap and include directions. The crust is superb, as is the sauce. We are picky about our pizza and live by the mantra that 'life is too short to eat bad pizza!' Well, this pizza is awesome. Now that we have discovered just how good it is, we will be frequent customers.

What a nice surprise! Great burgers nice quality of beef. Menu for everyone's diet & preferences. Moderately priced. Nice array of beverages. Great friendly service. Immediately seated without hesitation. I hope the service and good food doesn't change, as does many restaurants once established in a community.

Our waitress was pitiful. She only had 2 tables and received poor service complaints from each. The pizza took 45 minutes. That is slower than delivery, and the restaurant only had 4 occupied tables. We debated walking out multiple times. That said, when the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. Good food. Lousy service.

THe owner of Assagio's is highly supportive of our local community so I like to dine here to support his restaurant. Lots of variety in addition to wood-oven fired pizzas,

We had the pizza lunch combo and I ordered Chicken bbq and my large slice was delicious! He ordered Chicken Parmigiana and ate it all! Service could have been better as we had to ask another server for drink refills. This would not prevent me from returning as the food was delicious.
