We spent the day at the beach and went here for lunch on our anniversary. We ordered the catch of the day encrusted in salt and slow cooked. Without a doubt the best fish I have ever eaten. The calamari appetizer was incredibly fresh and prepared perfectly. The only regret is that we have to wait two years before we come back to Italy to enjoy another fantastic meal here.

We went on a Tuesday evening in September. I believe we were the only tourists. We did not have reservation, but we were shown to a table immediately. The place filled up shortly after (all tables occupied). Staff was efficient and helpful. Food was very good.

We have visited this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. There is a wide choice of dishes, fish, meat and pizzas. In fact for me theirs is the best Pizza in the area, very tasty tomato sauce, thin and crispy. The service is good, friendly and helpful, with an English speaker. If you give them notice they will make you whatever dish you want. Menus are translated into English for the non Italian customers. They offer set menus for good prices, so you know what you going to pay before. My only negative point is that the extraction isn't very good and when you sit inside your clothes end up smelling of food.Thank you very much for your review ... Sul lungomare di Francavilla, esattamente di fronte al mare, c'è questa bella birreria. Arredata tipo pub, con tavoli di legno, è originale, ma il meglio è la Pinsa.All'apparenza è una pizza ovale, ma ci sono delle differenze di impasto, oltre che di forma, che la distinguono nettamente. Lo stesso impasto della pinsa viene utilizzato per fare i panini al momento. Invece di dare la forma ovale e schiacciata, viene data la forma di una pagnottella. Cotta al forno, riempita e servita è una vera delizia. Ho preso quella con la salsiccia, una cosetta leggera, ma si può scegliere per l'hamburger di Chianina o altro. I panini sono diversi dagli hamburger, che pure vengono serviti in questo locale, ma a differenza dei panini sono accompagnati dalle patatine.Per tornare alla Pinsa, ho preso quella con il salame piccante. Molto buona. Anche la birra è molto buona. Mi hanno detto che è la stessa che viene servita a Monaco in occasione del festival della birra.

I have been living in the Franca Villa area for five years now and have eaten in many, many, restaurants in both Pescara and Franca villa in the past and i can safely say that Civico 53 will not be beat for quality of food and excellent service at a very reasonable price. I am the type of person who, if i'm let down by service or the food itself i simply won't go back but i eat at Civico 53 again and again mainly because it's good food, great service and a great price!!!I expect great value for money and and Civico 53 delivers every time!!!

On Easter Monday I went for dinner to this delicious restaurant: pizzeria e ristorante Florio. I was really surprised of the friendly people and waiters there. The food was delicious. Weâve all ate fish as a starter and I can tell: it was really fresh fish! We didnât pay a lot and the lady behind the bar gave us a liquor from the house. Its a traditional Italian family that runs this restaurant and you can see they give you everything to make you feel like home! Itâs really worth to go and visit this place. Top!

Celebrated my son's 6th birthday evening here.Staff were helpful, no problem with us bringing our cake etc.Pizza were excellent, a bit more expensive than other places BUT the ingredients were fresh, esp the olives and capers.Pizzas are large as well. Service is good but you may have to wait as there are a lot of people being served by limited number of waiters.

I really enjoy the pizza at Albatros both to take away and to eat at the restaurant. Highly recommended for family since the place outside is very comfortable, even though not too large and on the road. Excellent service: you wait no longer than 5 minutes after ordering. Best pizza in the area, service is fast, very good value for money. I advice also to try Rosticceria il Ghiottone, next door to the Pizzeria. The meat dishes very nice, and they do very nice arrosticini.Only downside, both Pizzeria and Rosticceria can get very busy during summer time.
