We went here as a large group of adults and children and they handled the orders brilliantly - the food was quick to arrive and they even do super large pizzas to share with a selection of toppings as you wish. Simply delicious!

We had a delightful dinner here and highly recommend the Chef's pizza with spinach, ricotta and prosciutto. We had a very nice waitress that could speak English well and was happy to provide guidance. For desert the ricotta dumplings stuffed with apricots and served with homemade vanilla ice cream were both unusual and delicious. The portions are generous so feel free to share your dishes. Reservations are a good idea for popular times, especially in the evening as it gets cooler and more guests want to sit inside. There is ample free parking on site.

Ci siamo fermati già due volte di passaggio, questo ristorante/Pub si trova proprio sulla via principale del paese, la pizza buona e bella ricca, ma anche la cucina fatta bene, cotoletta o Vitel-tonneâ buoni, prezzi molto onesti e caffè squisito, una vera crema. La ragazza che ci ha serviti è stata carinissima e, nonostante i tantissimi clienti che le arrivano, si ricordava di noi e dei nostri gusti.Consigliato

Purtroppo la ricerca di funghi e´stata piuttosto faticosa per arrivare a riempire un mezzo cestino e pertanto a mezzogiorno - molto affamati - ci siamo ritrovati in questo rifugio per compensare in una qualche maniera la giornata. I piatti si presentavano bene ed abbondanti. Per le pietanze a base di selvaggina il sapore era in una accettabile media mentre per quelli a base di formaggi e/o lucanica erano piu´che discreti. Nulla da eccepire sui prezzi che sono risultati molto contenuti. Location molto bella con servizio gentile ed attento.

We stumbled upon this place with our family of 6 adults, ordered several types of pizza and drinks. Everything tasted wonderful. It's right below a park and connects with bike/walking paths, so it could be combined with a pleasant walk/ride through this scenic area.

For pizza, this is the best place in the Val di Non. Your pizza is made to order, cooked in a traditional wood oven and delivered to your table promptly. The selection of toppings is impressive as well.In addition to the pizza, local specialties abound on the menu. There is also a salad bar.La Cantinota is located on Via Roma accross the street from the tourist office. There is ample street parking, especially after 7 p.m. The restaraunt is located in an older building with arched ceilings in a large Tyrolean style "stube." This provides a warm atmosphere, even in winter months.We are local residents near Fondo and we always choose La Cantinota. E sempre proprio perfetto!

After our walk around the lake we were very surprised to see this restaurant open as it had been closed all week. Very picturesque from the outside and we couldn't wait to pop in for a look, and we weren't disappointed.The first impression was a small and very quirky cafe, with a wall dedicated to AC Milan with signed football shirts and a scarf and another wall full of impressionist paintings. But this place is like Dr Who's tardis as it stretches around the corner, up some stairs and into another room.When we first went in, the restaurant was quite empty with only a couple of locals at one table and us at another. We ordered a coffee each and it was brought to us in a minute or so. We sat and enjoyed our coffee and soaked in this lovely building for about half an hour. Time was about 11ish so the staff were getting ready for lunch, so we left and had another walk around the stunning lake.About an hour later we returned and decided to eat here, and was quite surprised to see how busy the place was with both locals and visitors alike. We chose a table in the rear as the decor is again quite diverse with oak carved pillars on every wall.Warning..... the pizza servings are massive ! But they are mouth watering good and you just have to finish ! My wife chose Italian bolognese and she enjoyed that as well.It is table service but you do pay at the till rather than pay the waiter.We stayed until we were ready to leave and the staff are in no hurry to use your table, so a really relaxing meal.Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was for 2 reasons, only one toilet and drinks are expensive, especially soft drinks.All that said 24 euros for lunch sat in a beautiful restaurant on the shore of the picturesque lake. Mind you in first week of march we had no problems eating here but in the summer I would imagine it would be hectic.
