We were a group of 10 and got very efficient, friendly service. Most of our party had the Greek dishes and we all enjoyed them. Those who had salad loved the Greek dressing. The Tzatziki sauce that came with my Cicken Souvlaki is the best I have ever tasted. We had the wonderful baklavah for dessert. Unfortunately, one meal did not make the grade. My husband ordered clam strips. They were way overcooked. As an observer, I was immediately surprised to see how over-brown they were- any more and they would have burned. I suggested he send them back, but he didn't.

This hidden gem of a pizzeria is quite surprising. I love thick crust pizza when the crust is toasted and crispy on the outside and warm and chewy in the inside. 5-Oh! didn't disappoint! This is the best thick crust pizza I've had in years. The sauce is rich with just the right herbs, not overly sweet so as to let the natural tomato and herb flavors fill my senses. The mozzarella is thick and fresh! They have six speciality pizzas - most are a meat lover's dream with the exception of the White (vegetarian) pizza with Ricotta. Some have Andouillle sausage. (I hope they'll introduce a Mediterranean pizza.) you can also order individual toppings. The menu also includes salads, appetizers and grinders - though we had only their pizza. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Fairlee.

Our food is delicioso, simple and unpretentious, always fresh and homemade.
We ate here on our first night in Fairlee VT on the recommendation of the motel owner. Seating is both upstairs and down, and we were not asked our preference. After being seated and learning that there would be live music, we thought downstairs might have suited us better, but the music was not intrusive. In fact, the noise from the other diners was so loud that it was often difficult to hear the musician. My three cheese and veggie sub was large and delicious. Half was saved, and my husband ate it the next day on the trail! His meal of chicken prosciutto marsala was very good! The price for the meals was very reasonable but $17 for the two beers and a Bloody Mary brought the bill with tip to $56.
