Came here for the first time last night although my kids have been before. Great atmosphere and nice feel to the place, delicious food but maybe we could have a bit more?My kids are 9 and 8 and have enormous appetites as I imagine most kids of their age do, well they had to eat again when they got home! Chicken nuggets were ok but there were 13 chips and a tiny pot of beans. My son had two paltry slices of pizza and one piece of garlic bread. He polished this off in a few minutes and was still starving. His pudding could only be described as tiny, a triangle of chocolate brownie with sides no more than an inch in length and a teaspoon of cream! This was apparently the bigger meal on the menu for £7.99 ! Please can you be a bit less stingy?

Nice place and staff were fine just a shame the pizza was so under cooked ,would have asked for it to go back in the oven but we were running late for a meeting so ate what we could. I would suggest oven is to hot as the edges of the pizza are golden brown but the centre of the crust is just like soft bread, base was a sloppy mess.Would not bother re-visiting sorry!!Hi Markple,Thank you for letting us know about your recent visit to Franco Manca Exeter.I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your experience with us. Please, would you be kind enough to contact me directly at [email protected] so that I can investigate this?Thank you,Iain Cross

One night in Exeter. Had high expectations of this university town. Slightly disappointed by the tripadvisor restaurant reviews... But this place jumped out and I wandered up without a reservation on a Friday night...Ok, I loved this place (see review title) - the staff were really welcoming, despite the fact that most of the people here were 20 and Iâm, ahem, a bit older than their parents. The food was excellent - the best vegan pizza Iâve had, so far (the âOliveâ). Iâm not completely vegan (i.e. Iâm not really vegan or even completely vegetarian ), but Iâll always go for that option, if itâs available.Lovely bottle of wine (the Primitivo), which I fully intended to leave unfinished. No, really. All in all a lovely place. Wish it wasnât a 4 hour drive from my home!

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We donât do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. Weâre all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.We are situated on the famous Gandy Street
Zizzi's never disappoints with great atmosphere, excellent staff and fresh ideas on the menu. This visit no different despite the place being almost full!! Nice to have the dedicated vegan menu too. Tesco club card tokens a wonderful bonus. Hard to beat Zizzi's

We turned up on a Thursday night without a reservation and got seated straight away. The restaurant wasn't busy.We didn't order starters, instead we ordered pizza and pasta dishes with a couple of sides. The wait for our mains was longer than we'd have expected, maybe because we didn't have starters(?).The quality of the food was excellent though and was worth the wait. Our waitress was very friendly and chatty.Recommended.

20 of us pre-ordered our meals and they all came out quickly with a smile. We had our desserts in the lovely garden. It was very special, and will definitely go again. Thoroughly recommend it.

A fabulous Devon country pub serving locally sourced food and drinks with a focus on sustainability. Reopened in 2015, The Seven Stars Kennford is a vibrant gastropub that is well supported within the thriving community of Kennford (on the outskirts of Ex
A nice country pub with friendly and attentive service. Had the Fly and Dive and the Duck for mains; cannot rate it highly enough. Delighted with both dishes, nicely presented, strong well-balanced flavours. Good wine list - had the Malbec which was as described and for under £20 excellent. It isn't huge and so you need to book and no car park but we found plenty of street parking close by. Will be going back next time we are in Devon and so should you! Thanks for the kind review - it means a lot to us hereKind regardsAdam
