Family run freshly cooked Italian meals with relaxing surroundings.
As other reviewers have noted, the food at this restaurant feels authentically Italian. Friendly service and excellent focaccia.
Arrived in Blewbury on June Sunday evening. Blewbury was closed. No mobile signal! Eventually manages to get signal and ordered from Domino's in Didcot. It was delivered promptly with a few un aked for extras, all of which we happily devoured. Would happily order form them again.

We ordered the Xmas mega deal, which was surprising it was still on offer as we are now in April. But a large 15â pizza, 9â pizza, side and drink for £19.99 isnât bad so I wasnât complaining. We got the Veggie Supreme, and Pepperoni pizza with Cheesy Garlic Bread and a bottle of coke. The delivery was fairly quick considering it was the weekend and the standard of food was fantastic. Will recommend and visit again.

I have visited this pub several times with my daughter and family / we decided to eat here on 27 JuneBar member was very uninviting and no customer service - asked for 2gins -no ice no garnish /when I asked for a slice of lime she huffed and puffed! We persevered and ordered food - to be told. 50 minutes wait / ok - but as we wanted starters it would be 50 minutes wait for starter and then we would be at back of queue for mains! My daughter who ordered went along with this - unfortunately - so we ended up with mains and starters afterwards! No one came to check all ok or to clear plates -all in all not a pleasant experience I understand cheap and cheerful but I still expect service and respectHiI am very sorry to hear that the level of service that you received on your visit to The Station Garden was not up to standard. I have taken this up with the team that was working when you visited to ensure that this doesnât happen again. Many thanksLaura

We were warmly welcomed by the staff, the food was excellent and the ambiance and decor very pleasant. The only criticism was the random menu with limited options and although my husbands beef stew and dumplings was delicious and the beef melt in the mouth, it should come with some potato options, as it was, a dish that was already a bit pricey, needed an extra £4.50 to get a side dish of vegetables to go with it. I can recommend the half roast chicken with lemon and thyme, it was to die for and came with chips and a small side salad so better value. Overall we enjoyed our evening meal experience and would definately go again.

Farley and Peterson is a new concept looking to reinvent the British pub. Reading about the demise of the pub and spotting the gap for more casual and affordable dining in the pub market the founders of F and P set about creating a place they would hang o
We visited to have lunch for a friends birthday, eating from the £6 lunch menu. We like the bar and have been a few times for food. On this occasion the food was nice and in itself was good value, however we were surprised to see we had been charged an additional £1 for each pot of sauce we asked for, which amounted to less than a tablespoon of sauce. Considering how cheap one bottle of sauce is and the fact I have not been to a restaurant that charges for sauce for years, this seems very wrong and meant that actually we paid more than £6 per lunch. If they had told us we would not have had sauce at all, so I feel the staff have been very sneaky and taken advantage of us and possibly other customers.

There is a de-emphasis on pizza, -in the town centre concession with outdoor seating - as with the limited additional toppings on the pizza submenu which narrows the menu but bring a garlic vegan option which was well prepared with the crispy dough setting ip the toppings nicely

Saturday lunch, place wasn't very busy. We were three adults and two children. We ordered calamari and some olives for starters. They brought the calamari only, had to chase up the olives, which took a while. The main courses also took ages, and out of the three, one was completely wrong (another pasta dish) and the pizza which was supposed to have salami didn't have much (we were pretty much sure that it was another pizza as well, but not 100%). When we told the waitress she knew she had given us the wrong thing and there wasn't much apologies. Seeing as we had already waited one hour for this we said we would eat it. At the end, we went to pay and they had charged us for what we ordered (which was more expensive than what they'd given us!!!!). So basically, food is very late, wrong, and they tried to charge us extra!!

Take sanctuary from the street-level bustle and dive in to the flavours of local British cuisine at Oxen Bar & Grill, the all-day neighbourhood brasserie nestled in the Courtyard Oxford South Hotel. With leather snugs, Oxfordshire inspired details, expose
Standard food (although the fish did taste and look like it came frozen from the local supermarket) but highly priced. For what looks like a high class place the food was disappointing and the service wasn't much better (including the waiter laughing when we were actually complaining about the food). It will definitely not be somewhere we visit when we are in the area next. You can get much better food elsewhere for less. Very disappointing experience.Thankyou for your review.. i would like to take this opportunity to apologise that we fell short of your expectations on this occasion.it is only with feedback, good or bad, that we can improve and increase our offering to our valued guests.I would like to gain some more information on your experience here at The Oxen Bar & Grill, as it leaves me with some questions - please email me directly on [email protected], so we can discuss further.Kindest regards and looking forward to hearing from you.Thomas KentFood & Beverage Manager
