Me and a friend ate at Maggieâs yesterday for lunch. It was really a nice experience. Staff was very friendly. Place was was nice and cozy. Menu is very limited. The focus is pizza but yeah the pizza is really good. We ordered the white Chicken Bianca and yeah would definitely recommend it. Pizza is so hard to rate because there are so many pizza places now. Is it the best pizza Iâve ever had? No but certainly not the worst. Itâs definitely there own style. Crust is really thin which is fine because I like thin crust but the crust is not crispy which I tend to like better. Anyway all in all I enjoyed the pizza. The best part to me was the soup. I wasnât intending on getting soup but the waitress asked if I would like to try one of there soups they were offering for the day. I ordered the tomato soup and yeah it was amazing! I would say best tomato soup Iâve ever had. Definitely order soup of the day there because they definitely hit the mark on there soups. Also I ordered the cup instead of the bowl and wow. It was more than enough. Unless your sharing the cup is more than enough. A+ on the soup! If I had one suggestion it would be to expand menu a little. I donât remember any appetizers on the menu and we normally like to get appetizers. But yeah would I go back? Yes I would definitely go back.
Gluten free pizza was great. Delivery was fast. They included plates and napkins. Happy joes has a unique pizza flavor that you can find anywhere else and it's a real treat! Try the joes special with sauerkraut and Canadian bacon. Sounds yucky but is a taste sensation!!

We like Falbo Bros.Pros: Good dudes are working there, pizza tasty and fresh, slices available for on-the-goPotential Cons: More expensive than Big Box pizza, dudes working there are a bit casual, tucked into a residential area so would be out-of-the-way for many in Iowa City area

Full service restaurant specializing in wood fired pizza and a full bar with 20 draft beers and an extensive wine list. Inspired by the gathering of friends and family at a backyard pizza party
If you like wood-fired brick oven pizza, this is the place for you. We had the Lunch for 2 for $19, which was a pizza and 2 soups and/or 2 salads. We chose the Sweet Angelo pizza, which was just delightful, sweet with a little honey, tomato, mozzarella, pickled chilies, and soppresata, which I think is another name for pepperoni...anyway, it's great! My husband loved this pizza, he just asked if we could have it for supper too. I told him maybe!! We both love this kind of crust, chewy and so good. Our lunch companions had the salad...I should have ordered the salad instead of soup. Big salad with croutons, tomatoes, prosciutto, and pickled onion, which they gave to me. Yum!! They ordered the Keeping it Local pizza, pesto, goat cheese, caramelized onion, red pepper and tomatoes. They liked it a lot. The menu has lots of interesting items that I'd like to try. Our terrific server was Cierra. It was a lovely day so the big doors to the front were open. Had a great time, super food, and we will go back.

Mellow Mushroom has a very electric and fun vibe that is one of a kind. Full view of the skilled pizza bakers tossing the hand tossed pizza. This Iowa store's theme is Iowa Agricultural colliding with 1974 Aliens. Fun for ages 2-92. The BEST BEER Selectio
Itâs rare when you find both a delightful atmosphere and delicious food under the same roof. But at Mellow Mushroom both are in plentiful supply. From the âgroovyâ cow, to the psycadelic, 60âs vibe lighting, one only has to glance around to find something to discuss with ones dining companion. And when it comes to dining. Well, letâs just say, youâre going to have a hard time choosing something to dive into. With three of us choosing different dishes (sharing of course) we all agreed we couldnât decide which we loved the most! The ingredients were obviously fresh, in abundant supply and were assembled as if by an artist, delivered by the most friendly servers in town! This is a âmust goâ when in the Coralville area! Donât miss it! Youâre going to talk about it for days afterwards. I assure you, myself and my companions definitely did!Enjoy!

I was told this was great pizza in Iowa City but I was disappointed. The sauce was good and the pizza was salty. Ordered Pepperoni & Sausage, plus a ham and pineapple. Both pies had a stiff crust - not burned - with small holes poked throughout. The crust did not bend, except at the center where it was soft from being slightly undercooked. In the restaurant, everyone in uniform made it seem like a chain restaurant, not a special or unique environment. The toppings were good but the crust was so disappointing, I dont plan to go back.

Basta serves modern Italian cuisine, inspired by tradition and local Iowa ingredients. Our pizza is classic Napoli style.
Basra has excellent Italian food, you cannot go wrong at this location. Their homemade spaghetti and meatballs are the best. The pasta is homemade fresh from their kitchen. On Sundays they run specials on this item. Our server was top notch, and in to customer service. At this establishment, you cannot go wrong, well worth the stop.

A must stop restaurant for people in this area. They offer three types of their tasty crust, various topping, a great sauce, and plenty of cheese. Delicious! Other menu items including pasta, sandwiches, and salads are also good. The staff is friendly and service great.
