Discover Restaurants offering the best Pizza food in Commerce Township, Michigan, United States. Commerce Township, officially the Charter Township of Commerce, is a charter township of Oakland County, and suburb of Detroit, located in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 40,186 at the 2010 census. The terrain is rolling hills with large expanses of flat farmland and suburban development. The Huron River runs mostly north-south through the township. Commerce was formerly a weekend and summer resort for Detroiters because of the area's small inland lakes and peaceful seclusion, but due to recent development the cottages are now all permanent homes. There has been a sharp increase in population in the last few years, mostly on or near the several lakes and golf courses. Much of Proud Lake State Recreation Area is within the township. The northern terminus of M-5 is in Commerce. The busy highway would have continued north to Interstate 75, but because of the area's high property value and the many lakes that dot the landscape such a project would have been far too costly.

I have gotten the Gluten Free Pizza several times. I like it. The best part is i can order online and then its at my house in a matter of no time. Its so cool you can watch the order process as its moves along.
Drove past Marz many times as it is in a convenient location on Haggerty Road. One day I stopped in to get something to drink and made an impulse purchase of pizza slices that were near the counter. Since then, I can't drive past without stopping in for a slice. They also make excellent Italian subs near the back of the store. The owner and his wife are very friendly and take pride in what they do.

We ordered this as a late night snack after a bottle of vino. This is THIN crust pizza, so if you like thin, you are in the right place. Great aroma of garlic and olive oil. Nice crispy(but not burnt) taste. Sauce had a hint of spiciness which I liked. For cheap and easy, this was great for peeps who like a more evolved pizza. I'm from out of town, but when I come back, I'm calling in another order.
A song of fire and water. Neapolitan pizza cooks in 90 seconds in wood and gas fired rotating stone oven imported from Italy raging at 900 degrees.
I must admit that I am a pizza snob and generally find that most pizzas aren't very good...this place is GREAT! You have so many options to really make your pizza something very special. The neapolitan style crust is done right (something that 98% of other pizza places just can't get right) and they have a special wood burning oven that does it just right in a short amount of time. They have lots of very interesting choices for toppings and combinations of flavors. I really like this place and I am happy that I now have a pizza place for my family. Also, they are the nicest people and the service was excellent. This is a excellent family run business and it is important to support them in the sea of mostly mediocre pizza shops. They have gone the extra mile to really cater to people who care about good food. This should be a staple for the millennial crowd who really cares about quality of food. This place is GREAT! Support your locally owned businesses!
I like the 8 corner pizza here. the round pizzas are also good.the pizza is always piping hot here. it's pizza......but Jets is a good carry out pizza.
Love their Roma seasoning on pizza!Great staff, excellent take out pizza. Might cost a bit more but its worth it!

Has been open for maybe 2 years now.
Have only done takeout thus far but have had nothing but great food. Alex's antipasto salad beats Buddy's andis actually cheaper. I'm totally addicted to it! Occasionally get a couple tiramisu to go as well. Best anywhere! Staff friendly and after a few visits, they know your name and you're treated like friends, not just customers.

I had great expectations from reading reviews and wow, I was disappointed. I did not like it one bit, either did 2 kids. The most bland crust I've ever had, and the sauce is so acidic, it was so overpowering that I could hardly taste the cheese. Waste of 13.00.

Until a year ago I hailed from the lovely Garden State. The whole NY/NJ area is full of establishments boasting of the âbest pizzaâ. There is all kinds: brick oven, coal oven, wood fired, and the corner pizza restaurant. So I am jaded and abit of a snob when it comes to pizza pie as we North Newarkerâs called it growing up.Fast forward and I marry a Detroiter and there are trips to his home state visiting in-laws and friends to celebrate (graduations and weddings) and mourn (hospitalizations and deaths). Early on I quickly learned that Jersey wasnât the only pizza that locals areproud of, there are many of them out there. The first time I ate Detroit Style Pizza, I fell in love. I had Buddyâs square pizza. The dough gets a double rise which when baked makes it an airy but well structured. The cheese is Wisconsin brick cheese. I donât know what that is but it is stretchy and somewhat tart. It is a perfect accompaniment to the sweeter tomato sauce. The cheese is put on the dough first followed by the sauce. The pie is in a rectangular sheet pan w/ sides and then baked to perfection (IMHO). You can order a half which is four pieces or a whole which is eight slices. All pizzas can be accessorized and there are some such as the Ultimate Italian, the New Yorker and so forth. There are other non pizza options and I recommend the Chopped Antipasto Salad that my husband says is yummo. If you are in the Detroit area and can get to a Buddyâs I guarantee you will have an unforgettable pizza. Heydonât tell my Jersey buds!We are honored to receive your vote of confidence, as we are thrilled to know you are now a Buddy's Pizza fan. Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience and for sharing your favorites. We aim to serve only the best and we look forward to serving you at your next visit. Thank you!

We met my sister and her husband here as they live on a local lake. Some lake food is pretty crummy, but we were pleased with this place. The service was fast. There was some special that you get a pizza with another entree so both my sister and her husband did that and took home two pizzas. I can't eat pizza with all that cheese, but I did have the chicken parmesan roll and it was good. With being allergic to lactose, I often feel like I'm not getting the best food a restaurant has to offer, but this was good (albeit, a little iffy when it comes to the cheese and dressing). But,I liked it. We had a few local brews and went on to play cards for the afternoon. Good meet up place. Easy to get to and park and fast, casual food in the playground area of northwest Detroit area.
