Reviews on Pizza food in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. There are 2,000 years of history in Cologne, and visitors here will find everything from Roman towers to Gothic churches to fine examples of modern architecture. Cologne has a variety of museums, too—check out the Museum of Applied Art, the Museum Ludwig and, if you have a sweet tooth, the Chocolate Museum. Be forewarned, though—the gift shop at the latter will utterly ruin your diet.

It's a short walk from the U-bahn station at Neumarkt to PastAmore, but even if the restaurant were several blocks from an U-bahn station, an evening meal, there, would be well worth the longer walk. The restaurant seats around 30 patrons, but only a few tables were occupied the Friday night we were there. Ristorante PastAmore has a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, with our server respecting a leisurely evening with friends. My wife and I ordered their hand-made cannelloni filled with ricotta and spinach. In other Italian restaurants, the ratio of cheese to spinach usually hovers around 4:1 or more. Not so at PastAmore. The ratio of ricotta to spinach was much closer to a 2:1 ratio, allowing one to enjoy the leafy green in a rich cheese filling. Both our friends ordered pizza, which arrived looking both tempting and tasty. Neither of our friends were disappointed with their choice. The crust was tasty, the toppings perfectly balanced, and the amount of time in the oven monitored perfectly. The dulce at the end of the meal made for a very satisfying evening meal. The next time we're in Koln, we expect to return to PastAmore for another Italian evening in Neumarkt.

485Grad is a young, innovative concept. High quality, regional and sustainable products, combined with a unique list of beverages- with casual and laid back atmosphere. Our Pizza is inspired by an original pizza recipe- straight from Naples. The dough ris
The title summarizes basically the experience. This is the proper way of preparing a pizza, 3 day dough fermentation on a scorching oven for a minute or so. I tried the simplest pizza the margarita with buffalo mozzarella and it was heavenly. The flavors that have developed are unique ans complex. Highly recommended! Very nice ambience and friendly stuff.

This is a very popular local restaurant that is located right on Eifelplatz, just round the corner from the Airbnb we stayed at. The setting was wonderful and the service was excellent. I am guessing the food is almost universally appreciated too, however, the pizza rustica that my wife and I both ordered was way too dry and too salty for our taste. I really would have liked more tomato sauce on the pizza and also more toppings. As it was, the pizza was way too simple in my opinion. Now I understand that the proprietor would probably defend his pizzas as authentic. And they probably are, based on the various trips to Napoli Iâve made over the years. But to this troglodyte, I would like more sauce and more toppings. Mi scusi!

When on city trip to KÃLN we spotted this restaurant. Very trendy, great vibe, excellent service and nice cocktails, food and wine. Loved the anti-pasti and pasta. Great value for money, try it out, but a busy place which is always a good sign.

Pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven as the tradition recommends (1-2 minutes after preparation). Mozzarella wasn't amazing, thin dough. The zabaione was the pleasant surprise but be warned it has Marsala liquor in it (so not suitable for children).A bit far from city centre, probably I wouldn't walk that far for a pizza as there seemed to be good pizzerias in city centre as well..

This is a great Italian restaurant with tasty food. You need to book in advance. There is a wide range of pizzas, great starters and pasta. It is quite loud and sometimes hard to follow a conversation. For some reason they accept cash only which is unexpected and inconvenient in modern times.

Went there for dinner on a Friday evening. Busy place so you should book a table although otherwise they are very friendly and tell you you could wait near the entrance for a free table. We had delicious food - a mixed antipasti plate for 2, a grilled pulpo and a pumpkin soup as starter - all excellent. Then had three different pasta dishes - all excellent - and one Calzone which was good but regarding to the other offers on the menue I wouldn't recommend. As said the quality was outstanding, all freshly cooked, and apart from that you should know that the portions are quite big as well! When we asked to pay we were offered a free coffee or Ramazotti or else.Very friendly and attentive staff and typical Italian atmosphere.
