Stopped by this restaurant after a Reds game. Pretty cool atmosphere. Their pizza is really good. There's a lot of different beers to choose from. The only downfall was the service. Didn't look like they had enough people to help. Our waitress was a little behind on getting us our drinks. We asked for an extra plate that never came. Other than that experience, it was a good time. Cool vibe.

We got take out. It took over an hour for that, so not great. The pizza was very good & prices were average. We would go here again!

I cannot say enough about the service and meal we received here. We started with sharing a goat cheese and fig bruschetta which was lovely. Then we decided on the salt crusted branzio for two. That was amazing. Every thing was cooked to perfection. And the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.Wow Randall, thank you so much for the kind words! We hope to see you again soon for another great experience!

A good place to eat with excellent pizza. Very friendly staff, located a very short drive from aquarium, and delicious pizza. We had quick service, restaurant was clean and well maintained. Would recommend. There was no changing table for a baby in the restroom but otherwise great place!

I took my adult daughter here for a Saturday lunch. They have 9-inch pizzas on their lunch menu, which is the perfect size for lunch. The wood-fired pizza is crunchy with a smokey flavor...very tasty. Everyone can get the pizza they want, which is nice. Pizzas were $10 and soft drinks $3; not bad for OTR.

We chose to eat here on a trip to Cincinnati based on the reviews and the pictures. The pizza didn't look like the typical "Ohio" pizza we'd experience and not enjoyed. When we arrived, we waited about 5 minutes to be seated. They tried to seat us next to the bathrooms and when we asked to be moved to another table (there were quite a few empty 4 tops) we had to go back and wait longer. They then seated us next to the drink station. We surrendered rather than wait longer for another table. We ended up ordering a calzone and a pizza. The pricing structure was a little confusing and we were surprised that we would be charged for toppings such as basil and oregano. For the small amount they will be putting on the pizza, it doesn't seem that those should be the same additional charge as additional meat toppings. When the food arrived, the calzone looked and tasted good. The pizza looked ok, but the bottom crust was thin. When we picked up a slice, the pizza drooped down due to the thin and soft crust. We were disappointed, but fortunately the calzone was large enough to share and that salvaged the meal. The service was slow and basic server etiquette was missing, such as not reaching across someone's plate while they are eating in order to fill their water glass. We ended up leaving cash on the table rather than waiting for the server to return to pay the bill. If you do go, stick with the calzone for both taste and value.

My son proclaimed this to be the best pizza he has ever had. I just may have to agree. The ingredients were uniquely light, fresh, and delicious. The crust was fluffy and tasty. Both salads were light and deliciously healthy. It deserves its rating as the top restaurant in Newport! I also liked how several waiters helped us with everything and had complete autonomy as if we were their own.
