After a long day of walking and exploring Boston, our hungry family headed up to the north end. Before leaving town, several friends highly recommended the Italian food here but few mentioned the great ambiance of Hanover! Our food at quattro was delicious: chicken parm was large and sauce soooo good; pizza marguerita cooked perfectly hot and crisp; sirloin sliders cooked medium with well cooked fries. Zero leftovers!! Our water glasses were kept full and we also had a bellini which was yum! The wait staff was friendly and quick, restaurant very clean with a European feel, and did I mention delicious? You will be refreshed enough to continue walking the neighborhood and see few Freedom Trail landmarks (Paul Revere).

It was a beautiful warm Saturday night sept 28. Very busy. Excellent authentic food. The gravy on the pasta the best I ever tasted. I had the veal parm. Veal stacked so about 1/2 inch thick and baked. Served in baking dish over pasta. Everyone I was with who had gravy/sauce said best they ever tasted. San Mariano tomatoes. Tried my friends lobster ravioli and they were excellent. If i wasnât trying to be carb light I would have ordered. The nicest waiter But... we had reservations for 7 pm and did not get seated till 8 pm. You wait outside. The sidewalk full of people waiting like us for their reservation. With all the restaurants not sure worth the wait. It was excellent and great vibe. Atmosphere is loud from all the people seated and talking which I personally like. Service superb. If you donât mind waiting or donât want to pick a different night, donât think twice about the wait.

Wow! My wife and I had an excellent dinner at Benevento's in the North End. The food was fantastic. Priced as expected...a little pricey. My home made noodles were awesome and unique. I had Veal Saltimbocca and was excellent. The atmosphere and ambiance are great like many restaurants in the North End of Boston.

We had a great dinner at a very reasonable price at Locale. Their pizza menu ranges from standard (marghareta, pepperoni with red sauce and mozzarella) to gourmet. We couldnât decide which we liked better - the âTartuffoâ with mozzarella, fontina, caramelized onion, mushrooms with truffle oil and balsamic glaze) or pistachio pesto. 3 pizzas fed a hungry family of 5. The salads were generous enough to share. Service was excellent (thank you, Maria) and the price was right!

On a pizza loverâs bucket list. The original location had a line that quickly moved. Guys chose to get slices of pepperoni to go. No congregating at the bar. Location in a neighborhood on building corner. Worth the walk. Check the bucket list.

Get there early as the lines beef up quickly. They only serve square slices of cheese, but it's fantastic. It really is all about the ingredients. You can throw some extra cheese or ground pepper too. In addition, they also have some calzones, arancini, and drinks available for sale. Enjoy! It's cash only.

Great pizza all the way down to the delicious tasting crust! Our party was pretty large and the staff was so accommodating. We will definitely go back for more upon return to Boston!

A Wood-Fired craft beer and wine neighborhood restaurant in Hayes Sq. Charlesotwn
My husband and I found this place after taking the Charlestown Ferry from Long Wharf. The food was delicious. I had a salad and he had the sandwich special. The food was fresh and we both agreed that our meals blended unique tastes to come up with an excellent lunch. The beer was great too. Back patio was shady and lovely.

Based on the TripAdvisor review's, I was excited to try Italian Express. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but we left unimpressed.I ordered a Big Slice of Pizza with sausage and mushrooms. It was definitely a huge slice at a very reasonable price. The dough and sauce were relatively tasty, but all they do is take a pre-cooked slice of cheese pizza, slap some sausage and mushrooms on top of the cooked pizza and warm it up again. Maybe I should have expected this, since I ordered a slice of pizza. But it wasn't as good as the reviews made it out to be.My husband asked how the BBQ Chicken sandwich was made. The waiter said the sandwich had a chicken cutlet, with barbecue sauce on top, and whatever else he wanted on it. Maybe he should have asked more questions, but he was surprised to find that the chicken cutlet was breaded. But he did say the roll was extremely fresh. The restaurant is clean, nothing fancy, but perfectly fine for a small neighborhood restaurant. They did a significant amount of take-out business while we were there, so maybe we just ordered the wrong things. But for me, I won't be going back.
