This is one of the most remarkable Pizza places in Tuscany , very well known by the locals but not known by the foreigners visiting Tuscany. Would be worthwhile to included it on Tripadvisor.

Were recommended to go here by some fellow travelers... we were not disappointed. Great range of pizzas, cooked beautifully... attentive professional staff, lovely relaxed somewhat "upscale" atmosphere...we thoroughly enjoyed it, and would return in a heartbeat. Recommend reservations on busy nights!

Our family had dinner here twice while staying at Casa Mori. The first night was a savior as we had been traveling all day and arrived in Certaldo in the evening and needed to eat. The food was so good we had dinner here again on our final night at Casa Mori. Recommend Pizzeria Maroni if you are looking for an inexpensive meal with typical plates of Tuscany.

Arriving at Certaldo on a Saturday evening without a booking we were relieved to find this pizzeria and even more so when we saw the pipping hot pizza coming out from the oven at the front. This is a place for pizza and the locals seem to think so. We also tried sauté mussels and clams and they were good and very inexpensive. Decor is simple and neighbour style but one eats well here.

We had just arrived for a short weekend break with friends. This restaurant was recommended. We arrived as a party of 7 on a Friday night. Wonderful service from a young girl who spoke fabulous English. The restaurant doesn't look anything special from the outside but the food was wonderful. Great pasta dishes and pizza but so flavoursome. Not one complaint from any of our party on their choices. We enjoyed it so much we returned for lunch on our last day. A fantastic find and a great price for 7 of us!!

All the reviews in Italian seemed positive so we gave it a go. It's not the most beautiful of locations but the pizza was huge! Although English was a problem we got by with minimal Italian. Staff we're very friendly. If looking for a very cheap bite or take away pizza try it out - one pizza is easily enough for 2 people!

This is a very small place, but very big on taste and service! We ate here for dinner on a Monday night when other places were closed. Three young men behind the counter provided excellent service, big smiles and helpful suggestions on our menu selections. They suggested we change on of the pizzas we ordered because it was similar to another one, they gave free samples of 2 kinds of crust they offer so that we could choose, and they offered after dinner drinks - a dessert wine (vinsanto) or limoncello! Nice suggestions! They had great options for draft beer and wines as well.We ordered 3 different pizzas and loved them all - one had prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, burrata, and poppy seeds, one had many toppings including onions, cheese, salami, and the last one was spicy and very tasty!We thoroughly enjoyed the 3 young men serving us - when we asked where to get good gelato in Certaldo, one of them took us outside and around the corner to show us! Wow! That's exceptional service!We loved this place - good old music playing, interesting clientele - some were sitting outside across the street so they were running across with pizza and beer. Very entertaining and enjoyable!

This place is great to have a low prices dinner. The owners are very children friendly.The quality of the food is great and fresh especially when you compare it to the price (5,- for a take away pizza).The restaurant lies in a commercial area and is more a practical big room then a romantic plance. It is not the place for a candlelight dinner but great if the children are hungry and a bit louder ;).We had some Antipasti, Pizza and Pasta and were happy with everything. The other day we just ordered some Pizza to take away (took 10 minutes).grazie

We ate our evening meals here on three consecutive nights and I must say we were not disappointed by any of our meals. The staff were very helpful and friendly and answered any questions we had about the menu. The starters include two Misti dishes one meats and cheese and the other seafood, these are very big portions and could easily be shared. Prices were very reasonable for both food and drink. Much more than a pizzeria although their pizzas seemed to be very popular and lot of carryout pizzas too. All in all three great nights. The restaurant decoration has been updated since the above pictures were taken and now has a clean fresh look.

We had a very affordable basic meal here at this little pizzeria. The pizza comes in various sizes and with a wide variety of toppings and is very affordable and tasty. This is a very unpretentious local eatery favored by the locals and with few tourists.

Whilst this is a great big place, it still has lots of character with its vaunted ceilings and interesting decor. Large, noisy and full of families - it was a great spot for a really good pizza (simple and tasty), and fast friendly service.
