Menu caters for all. Pizzas excellent. (from about 6 euro). Fillet steak to die for. (10 euro) Very reasonably priced. House wine very good and only 8 euro a bottle, Kid friendly with play area better than norm. (Giant trampoline). Open evenings from 7.30pm except Mon & Tues. Owner lovely and also most staff speak English. You will not be disappointed..

I was delighted to be able to return to La Bionda twice this October and both times it was really good. I experimented with a stuffed calzone - delicious! Service from the very friendly Monia was excellent. Tremendous value for a huge, piping hot, crispy, delicious pizza.

We visited Trovaposo which was recommended by an Italian lady working in our hotel. Really good place for pizza. They also have other Italian food, but we only ordered pizza. This is a typical Italian restaurant family fully consistent with our conceptions, as it should look like a family pizza restaurant in a small Italian village. and to do so in the best possible way. Very nice traditional interior, nice, but not intrusive service ... delicious pizza. I recommend to all pasing nearby Barga!

I go to La Rocca regularly. It has one of the best lunches in Garfagnana area. Especially unusual for Tuscany is a full lunch buffet with antipasti, primi, secondi, and dolce. It comes with wine and water also. The buffet is especially a good choice for vegetarians as it often has 10 or more vegetarian items and it's all you can eat. Try finding a better vegetarian choice in Tuscany, the land of "cibo di Terra" All this for a price of 8.50 euros. The restaurant is Owned and operated by Cristiano and Melania. There is wonderful balcony outdoor seating available as well as inside and menu dining also with an authentic wood oven for great Pizza.

The Grind House serves up a nice cold beer with a large selection to choose from and they also make a great cocktail.They set up pop up bars in the square during the festival and have great live bands.They also have a delicious range of tapas in the evening.We sat outside with lovely views of the river.

direi buono anche come pizzeria...ma c'è sicuramente da migliorare nel servizio perchéè un pò lento e poco organizzato al punto che in alcuni casi i piatti arrivano un pò freddipeccato perché il cibo è buono come del resto le Pizze.

I know l'Isola for ages and I come here when I want to eat a great homemade and traditional wood oven cooked Pizza. The pasta is fresh cause it's made by the owner every single day. When you taste the pizza you can recognized that the ingredients are of the highest quality. There are many different flavour you can choose and the price is very good in terms of quality/price. A bustling, busy, big dining room. A group of 17, we had pre-ordered our choices. Drinks orders were fairly speedy. Food was slower in coming, but not really surprising under the circumstances. Well presented tasty food, reasonable prices, pleasant staff.
