Don Giovanni Italian Restaurant is situated on Avenue de Poissy, the main road through Acheres. Plenty of on street parking. We were a party of 15 people and they succeeded in serving fifteen hot meals, exactly as ordered, all at the same time. The waiter was smiley, polite and good fun. The owner, too, seemed pleased to see us and made us very welcome.I had Tagliatelles à la carbonara which was tasty, hot and plentiful. Others had various pizzas, and specialities like escalope de veau gratinée avec du jambon de parme. Beers were cool. Wine was in good order and the owner offered us Grappa and Limoncello for a digestif.Good evening, and I'll be happy to go again.

Rare sont les restaurants Italiens d'où je sors satisfait mais là , il ne peut en être autrement. Nous nous sommes régalés du début à la fin. Les produits choisis sont d'excellente qualité et le service est plus que sympathique!Dommage que nous ne soyons pas du coin car ce restaurant pourrait devenir notre QGBravo et merci pour ce régal des papilles

The staff were friendly. The food was pleasant home cooking without frills. The house wine was perfectly acceptable. The bill was a pleasant surprise.

A great place for honest food and friendly service. My daughter ordered a drink that the waiter warned was very bitter. She didnât like it and the waiter offered to change it for something else. Service that you donât often experience in France (âworld famousâ for their rude waiters). We will definitely come back

Le secret de Didier, le très sympathique Pizzaiolo installé sur la commune de Carrières-Sous-Poissy depuis au moins 14 ans, câest la pâte : super fine, super légère et par conséquent super digeste. Celle-ci est si fine que la Pizza est cuite (dans un four à bois sâil vous plaît) sous vos yeux en moins de temps quâil nâen faut pour le dire (à peine plus dâune petite minuteâ¦). Lâattente est donc raisonnable, malgré la prise des commandes au téléphone et la file dâattente devant le camion. Comme les ingrédients qui composent les Pizzas sont également dâassez bonne qualité (sauce tomate, fromage, olives et anchois pour la « Napolitaine », ma préféréeâ¦), je recommande si, en rentrant chez vous après le boulot, vous vous posez lâéternelle question : « quâest-ce que je vais bien pouvoir manger ce soir ? »

Looking for something simple for lunch after visiting the nearby Villa Savoye we followed recommendations on TA and headed for Casa Nonna. On the main shopping street up a small alleyway we were warmly welcomed and took a nice seat in the corner where we could watch the chef prepare the pizza - always one of the highlights for me in such restaurants! From previous reviews we weren't sure what to expect in terms of looks but were pleasantly surprised at the décor which was simple and clean if rather dated. Certainly in no way off putting! On a Tuesday lunchtime we were also surprised at how quickly the restaurant filled up with locals - always a good sign - and together with some pleasant back ground music all added up to a great lunchtime atmosphere.Having watched them being made, our pizzas when they arrived looked and tasted amazing with one of the nicest crispiest bases Ive had for a long time. Toppings were generous and delicious and prices were around the EUR10-12 mark or just shy of EUR 13 for two courses on the daily set lunch set menu with good value drinks.Casa Nonna has all the hallmarks of a traditional family restaurant run by husband (chef) and wife (waitress) and service was super friendly and quick. Overall bill for two of us including starters, pizzas, a huge slice of home-made Tarte Tatin, drinks and coffees was still less than EUR 50.Locally there is plenty of on and off-street parking with the usual free lunchtime period, a beautiful church, walks along the Seine and the wonderful Villa Savoye. Certainly enough to keep you occupied and worth making a detour to visit if in the area.An excellent value find and delicious food. Definitely recommended!
