Went there in the evening with our 3 kids. Very friendly staff. Nice surroundings outside on the covered terrace. Ordered tuna Tatar, Burrato with prosciutto as starters and the swordfish and Pizza O sole Mio (special of the house, really good). All tasted great. Went along well with a glass of Primitivo. Finished off with a Sorbetto Mandarine and cheesecake. All Yummie! Will definitely come back one more time before going back home.

Family run establishment in the centre of town. We shared the antipasti which was nice with a good selection of different dishes, and my fish main was also nice. However, the pizza's weren't great by Italian standards. An inexpensive restaurant with friendly staff made for a pleasant evening out.

Well we found the place where the locals eat. Service was brilliant. We just had the starter the first time 12 plates of delicious local food. We had a jug of the fizzy red wine - nothing to shout home about but the whole thing was cheap. We went back the next day for pizza - super! !

A very basic pizza restaurant with no atmosphere and nothing else on menu to speak of. It is cheap and fast. Pizza good but not special. Kids liked it as they had actually very good French fries with their pizza. This place is for someone wants something quick and reasonable and No Frills and no expectations.

The Restaurant-Pizzeria Al David welcomes its customers in a friendly and peaceful atmosphere that is ideal for a relaxing and good moments di kitchen with di friends or relatives. The kitchen is renowned for its excellent pizza cooked in wood-fired oven
We visited on a Groupon deal. The starter was a platter of cheese, salami and bread - which was good if a little uninspiring. The pizzas had very good bases, but the toppings lacked a little flavour. The dessert was a piadina with nutella. The staff very very friendly and the restaurant pleasant. Overall there was too much bread in the meal.customer friendly, people like her who, with a few words give clear meaning to what they write, are, in our opinion, a rarity. thanks a lot is still to early

We have eaten in dozens of local Carovigno restaurants over the years. Unfortunately, they sometimes close down even when they are really rather good (witness Dolce Vita). But Olympo has become our new go-to pizza place. The value for money is fantastic and you are not likely to find a better pizza restaurant than this. A couple of pizzas, a really good, varied mixed salad as contorno and a super bottle of Negramaro - what more could you ask for? The staff here are lovely too. Do go!

The restaurant is only metres from the sea and manages to serve uninteresting, unappetising and most likely old fish for lunch. There is no good reason for this unless customers are queuing up to get in at night because of their location. They weren't queuing when we were there. Pizza for lunch wasn't available, certain pasta dishes weren't available. We felt backed into a corner as we had been given our drinks and felt we couldn't easily leave. We had seen the old looking fish in the glass case on the way but three out of four went for fish as there was no other nice option. The fourth person chose not to have a mains and in hindsight was wise to give it a skip. Three plates of deep fried fish appeared. We couldn't believe how bad it was. One of us just put the napkin over the meal and the others picked at bits. When the plates went back practically full the chef came out to see what was wrong. We felt quite intimidated at his manner and said it was fine and asked for the bill. We didn't debate with him. Instead of the bill two desserts came out as an apology. Fair enough as a gesture but we just wanted to leave and it took ages then to get the bill. 60 euros is too much to pay for food of this poor quality. If you like all your food from a fryer and aren't too interested in fresh seafood then this restaurant is for you. The irony is I was sitting beside a door with two tripadvisor badges from 2013 & 2014....... Not in keeping with reality.Gentle IrishEastcoast, we are sorry for the inconvenience happened, we can assure you with certainty that our fish is fresh and visas your doubts Chef came out to hear your own opinion, as it is usual to do in all restaurants as they should. Vogiamo point out that if we expose our fresh fish in the "glass boat" is because the fish is really fresh, otherwise the terremmo belo hidden in the kitchen without showing it to anyone! And 'good custom that if someone has somthing to say say it immediately and not of TripAdvisor apparire.Inoltre only 15 Euros per person for a dinner of fish do not seem at all like excessive cost ... of course we invite you to return by us to taste many of our excellent dishes. Best regards

It's a beautiful, rustic-elegant looking restaurant. Family owned. No foreigners. The authentic Italian experience. The antipasto changes daily; innumerable little plates brought to your table which alouds you to have a little taste of everything: cheese, salads, seafood, polpetti, meats, stew, pickles, etc... They have a wood oven outside where the make all sorts of pizzas with the freshest ingredients. Open year round.
