I have to tell you that I was very disappointed with this restaurant. If I wanted to wait in a long line for over-cooked pasta, I would have just gone to Sabarro or Olive Garden. This place was not much better they just presented it nicer.I walked in they gave you a card which you had to swipe for your order. That was the first sign of a restaurant cutting staff. The line to get pasta at the time was about twenty deep and the cooks could not keep up with the orders. What I saw going into the bowls was not that impressive so I ordered a pizza. The Prosciutto Pizza was cooked fine but the flavor of the pizza was over-whelmed by the amount of arugula and shaved cheese they dumped on top of it. Plus the sauce did not have that much flavor.I tried to get a drink but all the drinks behind the pizzeria were warm and I was told by the cook that I had to go to the bar for a cup of ice which was on the other side of a crowded restaurant with my pizza done. I did not want to leave it so I just drank the complimentary water. Bad layout guys, you should have refrigerators with ice available for your cooks to sell drinks as well. When I turned around, the line was about 50 deep because of the concert at the Capital One Center and the cooks really fell behind. I felt bad for them. The tables were all filthy because the two ladies who were cleaning them could not keep up and the restaurant did not look appealing. They should have had more people on that night to clean and not make the customers have to clean up after other customers. The worst is that there was a line to leave a tip and I could not believe that since there was no wait service what so ever. I just left zero because I ended up having to service myself and then clean the table around me because other people were waiting to sit down.Very disappointing set up guys. You really need to rethink a concept where the lines for food are ridiculous and the tables are dirty. If you want to run a restaurant with no staff, try reading a book on what the Hospitality Industry is all about. It is about servicing people not treating them like cattle.Hello Justin, thank you for visiting us and trying out our dishes. Saddened, you did not like the cheese on your pizza. Admittedly, it can get very busy at times. We are always working feverishly to serve all guests fast but with upmost care to details and requests. Our chefs work hard and some people like to leave tip, but there is no MUST or a line to leave us tips.We hear you on the concept and have already thought thru this idea. Many of our locations worldwide have implemented kiosk and table service. We appreciate your feedback and will take it to further our improvements in this direction.

The waitress we had was very unfriendly. Upon saying hello, I was greeted with a grunt. Multiple occasions I tried to be friendly and was just ignored. The pizza tasted like something you would get at a ballpark. Why this is the number one rated pizza place in DC as advertised on the front door is beyond me. Based off the staff and average pizza we would not come back.

Good pizza but not the best we have had. Thin crust. A little pricey but Washington DC seems to be this way.

I stopped by this place with my two kids for a fast lunch. I never been to this place before and we discovered it by accident, looking for a place to feed to starving kids.It was a really good idea to stop by Wiseguy, they serve a full range of pizza, both traditional and American style. They also serve a great Sicilian-Style Grandma pizza, I loved it! thick crust, classic toppings... Loved it! I had two serving of this one.Anyway all pizza were very good and healthy, my kids loved it.Wiseguy serve a full range of soda but no wine/beer. People is very nice and service is fast, great for a quick lunch. They also offer food to go.I also liked the environment, it was nicely decorated, old American style.Overall a very very good experience. Great place for kids.

Highlights: Fried Arancini. Fun Theme, Casual atmosphereDetails: On a friday night, we were seated immediately. As we were first timers, our server spent time explaining the menu and also brought us sample appetizers as a first-time experience. I enjoyed the Arancini — it was one of the sample appetizers. I ordered the pear and apple salad with bleu cheese. It was just okay. My husband had the burger — he enjoyed that greatly.I think the theme and the prices matched up. It's not unique, but a reliable place with lots of dining options.

You go in, choose your crust, whatever toppings you'd like and pay $10. Super simple and the pizzas are large enough to stretch into leftovers for the next day. They have vegan options too which is nice.Highly recommend.https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g28970-d2343625-r696915999-ZPizza-Washington_DC_District_of_Columbia.html#
