ASK Italian in Canterbury is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about Italia
We had dinner for two on a warm summers night, sitting in the pretty garden at the rear of the restaurant. We started with a grilled prawn dish, and one of stuffed mushrooms. Both were tasty and well presented. For mains we had a italian sausage stuffed cannelloni in a lovely tomato and basil sauce, and crab and ricotta stuffed pasta in a lobster bisque--the only problem was there was no lobster bisque! Both were good, the cannelloni the better of the two.Service was pleasant, and there was a good selection of wines by the glass. Prices were very reasonable. For a "chain restaurant", we were impressed--would definitely go back

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We donât do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. Weâre all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.No trip to the historic city of Canterbury

Authentic Italian cuisine, created by two young childhood friends and inspired by the finest, freshest ingredients.
I went to the the Olive grove with my husband and mother-in-law. We ordered the vege platter, the lamb special and halloumi starter. The food was delicious, especially the vegetable pancake with the manager was very happy to share the recipe for. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was well presented and delicious. Music was nice and not intrusive, so I can fully recommend dining here.
