Bicicletta restaurant, located within the New Acton precinct, serves authentic Italian cuisine from 5pm daily. The restaurant is best known for its Italian menu which focuses on seasonal, locally-sourced and sustainable produce. There's so much to choose
We stayed at the QT where it was impossible to eat due to the blasting "music" which made relaxing impossible so we went in search of food and found this lovely silent restaurant almost filled to capacity. Glad they had room for us as food and service were fantastic

A real Italian restaurant. Great food. Good wine selection. Warm. Inviting. All the things you would expect from a restaurant thatâs been going for 9+ years. Strangely Iâd never heard of it but the owner promised us he is going to up his social media presence. I had the veal scallopini.. wow. Lovely and a huge portion. So creamy and full of flavors. Wife had gnocchi and couldnât finish it it was so big. Really well priced. 4 people 2 entrees 4 mains 2 deserts. Wine. Pre and post drinks. All for under $300. Bucks. I personally really like it when you can talk to the owner who is actually working the room and you can hear the passion and the love of his restaurant in his voice. Great night. Great place. Will be back. I suggest you go.

We arrived and were duly seated and given menus and water. Here is pretty much where the service ended. After a little while I saw a sign that told us to order at the counter. I did and was then asked which table. As there were no numbers and it was crowded "that one" did not really help. Eventually the assistant worked it out.Our olives starter arrived in reasonable time but our pizzas took an age. My wife even checked to see if they had lost our order. My pizza arrived after about 40 minutes but not my wife's. Hers came a few minutes later.Sadly they were both burned. Not charred but actually burned. Returning them was not an option due to the time they took to arrive. The venue is not comfortable. We were near a door and it was cold and drafty. We kept our jackets on.Hi David, we are sorry your visit didn't live up to your expectations. We have just expanded our little shop to cater for a lot more dine in customers and although we have made some changes to our procedures we are experiencing record nights that are maxing out our capacity. On the night you dined with us we were stretched to our limits and a 30-40 mins wait was possible at the very peak. Most of the night it was much less. 15 mins is most common during the week. We are working on more changes in the kitchen to ensure the wait times are not that high even at peak times, but as i'm sure you will understand any busy restaurant will have a wait at peak times. We will also make sure that our guests are better informed of wait times and are better attended to. With regards to the pizza as i did not see it myself on this occasion i can only apologise if it was burned. We do normally char the pizzas more than most other pizzas as that is our signature. With regards to the venue not being comfortable due to being seated near the door there is not much i can do. The doors in the middle of the restaurant are usually used for dine ins only so as to reduce the amount of opening and closing but during the winter months the cold draft will always be an issue for any restaurant. We hope that you can give us another chance in the future where we can book you on another, more comfortable table, and correct all the issues you have had in this visit. All the best the Artigiana team.

Canât fault this place.Great beers and wines, friendly service staff and fantastic food. All the classic Italian dishes well executed and perfectly presented. Squid delicious, carpaccio perfect and arancini just right. Mains all excellent including lamb, pasta, steaks and salads. Highly recommend and thanks to the staff for staying late and not being too obvious about wanting to clock off and go home when we just kept ordering drinks!

Went there with my husband and our friends plus our 4 month old. Had a fabulous dinner. We shared a medium pizza and ordered a pasta for our mains. Ordered the Spaghetti Pescatore, I asked for extra sauce - oh, it was so good, I could eat this everyday. Husband ordered the Fettuccine Fungi, extra sauce, he loved it! \The environment was inviting and cosy. I asked for a warm seating area when I made a reservation and was seated near the back of house area. I would've appreciated a seat away from the kitchen but it was no big deal as we got to see and smell the orders coming out. Ended up having a great night. We had disappointing Italian in Bondi just a few days earlier but paid twice as much for half the food we got here at La Rustica. We loved the serving size and the flavourful dishes, Chilli oil was so good on everything, I went home and looked up a recipe. We enjoyed the food so much that, my husband who is doing Keto Monday to Friday always suggests La Rustica for his Saturday carb loading session, so we have been going there 3 weeks in a row, now. Enough said.

For a Wednesday lunch place was packed. Went there especially for the mussels and was disappointed. Sauce was too thin, hadn't been reduced properly. Started with bruscetta which was quite good, and then followed with the mussels and salad. Took away small plates, salad? Didn't provide finger bowl; spoon for left over sauce. Took wine ended up opening bottle ourselves. Two wait staff on really didn't cope too well.

Agostinis welcomes guests in the Italian tradition of friends, family, laughter and great food. Agostinis is more than just a venue; it is an experience, a place for families to sit at big tables with pizza, pasta and vino della casa to share and for frie
We were looking forward to our dinner here - we had eaten here before a couple of times but when it was a previous incarnation and we figured - Tuesday night - shouldn't be too crazy, Italian, advertises itself as family style, whats not to love -so we were three adults and two older teens. We arrived quite early and were seated promptly, one person still to arrive. Our friendly wait person, with an Italian accent got us sorted with menus and water. Our last person arrived (not late) and hadn't even sat down when another wait person arrived and wanted to take our order. She could see that this person was still taking off a coat and sitting down so how she could possibility think we were ready to order was beyond us but anyway, we sent her away.5 minutes later, our first very friendly server reappeared and orders were taken. The restaurant appeared quite busy but staff seemed to have it under control (this will become relevant in a moment). We ordered main courses and bread with prosciutto and cheese. Drinks prices for wine and beer are very high, almost price gougingly high. I had a cocktail which was reasonably priced and tasty. Bread arrived promptly and was tasty as were the accompaniments. But then we hit the issues.Main courses took close to an hour to arrive. We didn't have any of the long-cook ones, just pizza and pasta. No one came near us - not to top up drinks or explain. We had to ask for more water when the main courses arrived. However, we did notice, at least 50+ pizza boxes go out (not all at once). (My teen counted, he was so hungry!) We have noticed this at various places lately - the Uber Eats or similar phenomenon. It appears that home delivery now takes priority over in-seating people. Parliament is currently sitting -we even saw a Greens polly arrive to personally pick up his takeaway pizza. We also saw a lot of wooden boxes go out of the kitchen which we presumed were for room service. It was just too long a wait without any explanation. Then, when my pizza arrived, it was barely lukewarm. Another pizza on the table was the right temp so it appears they weren't cooked at the same time and one had to wait for the other. Its a pity as the taste was nice in theory but the cool temp made it taste rather bland. The giant ravioli was on the under-cooked side of al dente. The other main courses were nice. Not an issue of Agostinis but the table next to us had three kids, the toddler of which tipped the open salt containers on the table (two of them) and his mum was happy to let him make patterns on the table in the salt ("isn't he so cute?") -here's hoping the staff noticed this and binned it when they left!So overall, we were hoping for so much more, an average experience.Hi Bad Seed,We appreciate your extensive review as it helps us improve our service and offerings.I have discussed issue regarding mains with the waitress and she is very sorry about the wait. As the group wasn't in a hurry to order she thought it would be nice to let you enjoy entrees without having to rush into mains straight away. However, I reinforced with the team the necessity to communicate with the customer to understand their requirements better.Regarding take away and room services there is no priority service there, as the kitchen prepares meals on a "first order in, first item out" system. And in recent years it has become an important part of the business without detriment to "in house" restaurant guests. The Agostinis team hopes you give us another chance and that next time we can offer that extra you wanted to have in this opportunity.Kind RegardsDanny Acioli

Great pre- game pizza - AFL - Giants v Hawks. With a fresh rocket side salad. The glass of Red was a good move as it was cold and raining at the football, and then it starting snowing. Will definitely go back for another wood-fired classic.
