booked (advisable in summer and weekends!) severed by owner, service just right, not pampered stupid and not rushed, Antipasto well presented and of quality, meat dish was cooked as requested and again well presented, wine was appropriate, and desert, simple and well enjoyed. I would say I great place for evening or lunch in summer, view is very nice indeed, and parking is easy, Off the beaten track and road is narrow, but well worth going,

We had two excellent dinners in this restaurant - upstairs. The service was excellent and the food was totally delicious. The seafood platter is scrumptious and the seafood soup (for two) is absolutely not to be missed. Add some Prosecco and you have a magnificent meal and a surprisingly reasonable price

Stopped by for dinner and without a reservation, we were seated within 5 minutes. The place was jumping that night!! All the staff were very professional. The Ravioli with Bolognese was very nice and the Picci with Asparagus was divine!!! If you find yourself in Montecatini Terme - definitely Check this place out!!! And be sure to order the Panna Cotta for dessert!! It was like a cloud from heaven!!

Great food, fun place we had dinner there twice during my vacation. Huge pizzas and homemade desserts. Personally enjoyed seeing all the memorabilia of 1982 World Cup Champions!!!

Thursday & Saturday Sliced Beef with chips at 10,90 Euro. Friday & Sunday Fried Fish with chips at 9,90 Euro. Wednesday T-Bone Steak with chips at 12,90 Euro. If You are not intersted at the offer of the day you can choose from the menu.
We found this place through a review in Trip Advisor. My husband and friends went one night and immediately made reservations to bring me back the next night. The menu feature very large pizzas and calzones and focaccia. I'd plan to split these and try other selections as well. The daily specials include Bistecca florentine (on Tuesdays and Saturdays) for only 12,50 E, a steal of a deal. I had a taste of my husband's order and we both agreed it was a fabulous steak. In Florence, the prices for this dish are up into 35 E or more. Our friends ordered the Boar Stew both nights. This restaurant is large and crowded, mostly with locals of all ages. Fair prices, large servings, and good food--this isn't a chic place, but is that what you want tonight?Gentile Marty, grazie della recensione e a prestoDavide

We finally tried this restaurant/pizzeria this summer after many tears of driving past. It does not look anything special from the outside but, my wife, who is gluten intollerant, finally got fed up of watching me eat wonderful pizzas at our regular haunts and insisted we try there. Everything on the menu (and there is a vast range of pasta dishes and pizzas is available gluten-free for a 2 euro supplement. My 'normal' pizza and pasta were good and, when I tasted my wife's pizza, I was surprised to find that the gluten free version tasted like the real deal. We tried to go back on our last night before returning to England, but it was fully booked; presumably as in most groups there is always someone who is intollerant, it is a popular choice for a relatively inexpensive group outing. . We will be going back again on our next visit to the area.

I enjoyed a very nice dinner with my family last week, the food was fresh and excellent, the choise was among lost of traditional dishes and fish dishes. We booked in advance, we had a very fine table reserved, the waiters full of thoughts and very helpfull. Last but not least the price for the quality of the dinne simply excellent. I highly recommand this restaurant.

Staff are so friendly and food is excellent. Service can be a bit patchy when very busy, but the food and friendliness makes up for it. The antipasto starter with local meats and cheeses is a must have. Pizzas are also great. Would recommend.

I went to this place having googled "best pizza in montecatini', it did not disappoint. To be honest I love places like this, simple restaurants, little fuss, no huge menu or massive prices, just concentrating on what they do best, fantastic pizza. This place does proper Napoli pizza. Lovely buffalo mozzarella, fluffy crispy crusts, and a nice cold coke. Out of everywhere I ate during my stay in Montecatini this was the best. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

There are at least three zones of Buggiano, including the "colle" or hill where the Antico restaurant is located, next to the church on the beautiful village square. There are fine views from the village across the Arno valley towards the Tuscan hills. We ate very ordinary pizzas and a heavy choco-coconut cake served in an annex enclosure which seemed to be mostly for "stranieri" (foreigners). Given the lovely location our expectations were perhaps too high and we left a bit disappointed.
