Delightful and quaint restaurant situation right next to Roydon station. The menu is really good, lots of delicious pizzas and pastas to please the whole family. The owner/manager is really welcoming and gave my mum a happy Motherâs Day cupcake which was really sweet of her. Would definitely return!

Lovely little restaurant featuring some fun and quirky art, a pretty flower wall and some really tasty pizzas.Staff were pleasant and friendly, service was good. Iâm not one to be too picky but the only criticism I have is the limited menu, need to widen the choice of food options available and add some desserts and this place could be greater than it is.

From reports, I was expecting a fairly basic cafe with unexpected good food at very reasonable prices. The pizza and pasta are without doubt the star attraction and the pizza is very reasonably priced and good but the pasta and entres are priced at the same level as other much nicer restaurants with better facilities. The calamari starter was not cheap for its size. There was no childrenâs menu and they couldnât facilitate a half portion of chicken Milanese for my granddaughter or reduce the price accordingly with chips only. I was told it was proportioned already. Even more reason to accommodate with a childrenâs menu. Apart from the pizzas, it should think about reducing the prices of rest of menu accordingly. The only white wine available was mediocre Chardonnay at £6odd for a med glass. Although quite busy, the service was good but one pleasant waiter coping alone wasnât ideal. We will give this place another try but I think at the moment, it has illusions of grandeur when really it is a very nice basic cafe and the prices should reflect that. I do wish them well though.

I visited here for the first time on Sunday with a family group of 10 and we had a wonderful meal. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I recommend the salmon with leek. It was delicious .Others were all happy with their food and the pizza looked great.

We took our friends who visited us in the area, our first time visit even though only up the road. We will be back!! Great food, good portions. We saw a Queen tribute act who was fab - set menu had wonderful choice and was not as limited as set menus weâve had elsewhere. Excellent customer service, friendly staff. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Our dentist is very near this pub / restaurant, so my wife and I have enjoyed a meal or drink here several times now and our visit this week was no exception. We had lunch here and it was very good. The service has always been very friendly and good. There is parking around the back (albeit the parking entrance and exit can be something of a 'challenge'...)Our experience of the food has never been disappointing, so we happily re-visit'...

Last night I had a pizza with a friend and asked for some chilli oil. It arrived in a small bowl with a spoon rather than a bottle and spout. The pizza was good, but the bill included a charge of £1 for chilli oil. I have NEVER been charged for chilli oil in any other restaurant. There was no charge for the extra parmesan my friend had.Just seemed so unnecessary and left a bad taste at the end of the meal.Dear Ian, thanks for your feedback. Sorry you feel you left with a bad taste in your mouth. Please allow me to explain that we buy fresh chillies, then olive oil goes in it to add flavour. The extra fresh chilli pot is a side or an item extra requested by the customer.
