Reviews on Pizza food in Bolzano, Province of South Tyrol, Italy. The capital of Italy’s northernmost region of South Tyrol, Bolzano (Bozen in German) has only been Italian since World War I, and its character remains distinctly Germanic. At the center of the town, Piazza Walther is named for a 13th-century German minstrel. The town’s most famous resident, Ötzi the Iceman, dates from about 3300 BC and now rests at the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology. The striking new building for Museion, the city’s modern and contemporary art museum, opened in 2008.

Went for a pizza but when I saw the black ravioli with "lachs" stuffing I got that instead. Every other time I have seen lachs it's been salmon. This time a non descript white fish with little flavor. When I told the waiter that neither the color nor flavor were right for salmon he assured me that I didn't know what I was talking about.

The food was not great - a salad tasted like it had been made from tinned tuna rather than fresh food. Service was very slow and then the waiter arrived with the wrong number of drinks. Its a beautiful building with frescoes on the outside, well located near the market but avoid.

After being in Italy for a over a week and sampling all that yummy pasta....it's good to have a change. We loved the authenticity of this Bavarian style restaurant. You can still order pizza and other favorites....along with our choices of delicious Schweinshaxn and an Octoberfest dinner! Delish beer and wine too.

My husband and I found this place on trip advisor. Donât be put off by the name or the takeaway appearance from outside. We were so impressed - it has a lovely restaurant area which is comfortable. The curries we had were amazing - so much so we returned the following night for another meal! We had prawn curries and they were perfectly cooked. Also rice and naan bread which were also delicious. The chef was in an open kitchen and it was great to see him cooking. The toilets were also extremely clean (always a good sign). The staff were so friendly and obliging. Very impressed and would be there every week if we lived here!

Place is very nice and famous, but the meat dishes we ordered were not special. Meat was not the good quality so we left half of it. Other two friends ordered Salat as first dish and it was huge. As second, they ordered pizza with realy good dough and baked very good. But mushrooms, ham and tomato sauce was clearly not the fresh ones, but from the can.I will not go again, but it was not bad experience.

We ate here on the recommendation of our AirBnB host and we werenât disappointed! We all had pizza (lots to choose from) and we were pleased to see a kids option for â¬5 which was a huge improvement on our recent experience in Venice! The piazza is lovely in the early evening. The tiramisu was also excellent! Our meal cost â¬63 for 2 adult pizzas, one childrenâs pizza, a Fanta, a beer, an Aperol Spritz and three tiramisus.

We went to this restaurant because of recommendations in Tripadvisor. Our dinner turn out to be rather disappointing. The service was absolutely the worst part. Waiters were increribly arrogant for us with no clear reason. After taking our orders we didn't hear any word from the waiters. They didn't even tell us that we should pay our check to the counter. The taste of pizzas was average so this was a place not worth to visit.

We were glad that we followed the other reviewers and stopped for dinner here. It was just what we were looking for: casual, inexpensive, and quite tasty. The roasted meat (I can not remember which "bratten" it was) and potatoes were excellent; tender meat, full flavored sauce, and plenty of thin sliced roasted potatoes. The turkey salad was tasty too; large portioned. With a bottle of water the bill totaled 27â¬; plenty of good food for the money. We did our best to navigate the Italian/German menu; an English speaking waiter was most helpful.
