We dined here twice whilst in Varenna. Itâs a casual place for dinner and drinks. We had a couple of more formal meals in Varenna, but we really enjoyed the casual atmosphere of Tutti Frutti. Drinks came with canapés which was so lovely. The first night we both had excellent pizzas and the second night my husband had exactly the same. I branched our and had the lasagne with a salad which was lovely. If you just want to sit and relax and enjoy the views and feel like a simple meal, I thoroughly recommend.

Nothing can beet this site, right at the lakefront. Tucked away from the busy street. The Pizza is yummy and we loved their mixed fried fish - both from the lake and from the sea. The staff ist friendly and takes the order in Italian, English or German. The kids menu was our daughters favorite.Thank you for your gentle review. See you

We were very excited about eating at this restaurant especially after reading all the reviews. However we really do not think it was worth the trip into the hills. Tables are set out on a very uninspiring courtyard it felt like you were eating in someoneâs garden. Service was excellent but the food was average and disappointing. We ordered the cheeseballs anchor gnocchi to start. The cheeseballs were on a bed of salad that was inedible but the cheese balls were good. The good gnocchi was okay but nothing special. Full names we ordered the beef kebab because so many people had said it was good and we also ordered the chicken Milanese. The chicken was dry and so very average. I have had better so many times before it was served with chips. The beef kebab was nothing to write home about in fact we were so disappointed. Deserts were good but not special. I have had better tiramisu in England. We had to get a taxi from the town Iâm very surprised anyone manage to walk up there as it was quite a journey maybe there was a quicker route but we could not see it. It was an expensive meal for what it was and I certainly wouldnât rush to go back. I just feel I shouldnât have read the reviews because perhaps I was expecting something special and this restaurant is not special.

Beautiful location, good service, sensible prices, great value and - most importantly - excellent food! We both had pastas (gnocchi and ravioli), which we loved. You could tell they were handmade with care. You must also make room for dessert; the chocolate soufflé and chocolate/zucchini cake were delicious! Highly recommended restaurant.

We loved Da Luigi. The service was super friendly, the ambiance very relaxing and homey and the food excellent. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Service from the excellent English-speaking staff was prompt, efficient and friendly. We saw smiles and shared a few laughs. Always a good sign. My wife had the salmon and she was very pleased. Two of us had the cotolleta Milanese and it was delightfully tender and tasty. The fourth in our group had a vegan pasta.With wine and desserts we paid E85. I uncondintionally recommend this place. We preferred it to the other restaurant in town mainly based on the friendlier atmosphere.

Arriving without booking a table when the place was heaving, the lady who ran the place, squeezed us in. The tagliatteli with shrimps and curry sauce was Devine, the pizza delicious and the service superb from pleasant staff, will go there again.What a setting it was magnificent. Thank you

If youâre in the mood for pizza, this spot is very reliable: we ate here twice and both times the different pizzas we ordered were really good. The burrata one with cherry tomatoes was particularly delicious. You can make reservations on-line; in mid-August, that was really helpful as it filled up every night! A shout-out to the clearly overworked staff who were professional, efficient, and really welcoming despite being totally slammed. Excellent pizzas, good wines, beers, fabulous views. The fact that this place is full of locals, combined with a very busy take away service is proof enough of the quality of the food. Recommended to us by our hotel, we have to agree that this is one of the best pizzerias we have visited to date. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the size and quality offered. There are numerous fish specials every day and the fish coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled wonderful.Hopefully we will return one day to Lake Como and this will be on our list to visit again.

Child and pet friendly, reasonably priced. Stopped over for a quick lunch for the lack of better options in low season. Lacks a bit of atmosphere in winter, the nicest part, a sunny veranda with lake view, was not in use.We had different pizzas and and the tagliata. Service and food were ok except for the Lido pizza, which tasted fishy and was probably one of the worst seafood pizzas I ve ever tried.
