Great surroundings. Cocktail menu was interesting and the limoncello aperitif was delicious. More than adequate wine list. Excellent service! We split the special and they accommodated a special request for a particular pasta side dish without question. It was presented beautifully and was so tasty.

Deep-Dish pizza, craft beer and lasagna are just a few of our guest's favorite items here at Houston's Best Pizza and Italian Diner. We understand the importance of fresh ingredients and quality products and our customers can taste the difference. From Pi
Pizza is a funny thing. We love all styles - hand tossed, thin and deep dish. Barry's has great hand tossed pizza, but their deep dish is special. You can't beat it - the edges and crust is crispy, and the toppings are fresh and perfect. And they deliver! The pizza was just as good as a leftover, and we enjoyed every bite in our carb heaven. Worth every calorie!

The only negatives were that our reservation did not mean anything and the restaurant is extremely loud. We arrived on time and waited for 30 minutes. The restaurant was extremely busy, but there were open tables, which was annoying. The meal was great as were the drinks. The arugula and avocado salad was fresh, the margherita pizza was cooked perfect with a crispy crust, and the short rib pasta was great.

Our Fatherâs day lunch was a special request of sumptuous pizzas. We got the special pizza with many different items on it, a Margherita pizza, and a Greco pizza. We also got a fresh Mediterranean salad and Portobellini mushrooms with crab meat and shrimp. There were a lot of people quietly enjoying every delicious bite!

We visited this place with our children on a Friday evening. It is a modest place, noisy and warm. The night we went, it was packed. Basic tables, no tablecloths. Largely self-serve, although the staff will bring out items you have to wait for. BYOB. They have glasses, although we got 4 different shaped glasses for our wine. The Margarita pizza was good, although not great and the basil was not fresh. The Supreme pizza was loaded with toppings, but it didn't quite taste fresh. We also tried the fried chicken wings. They were well done and crispy, but they had no taste. I guess you rely on the sauces they serve them with. Good for a quick bite, but don't expect much.
