rustic interior; very good traditional Italian/Tuscan food. Lots of options for grilled meat or fish. Abundant portions. Impeccable service. Pizza and focaccette in the evening. pranzo di lavoro on weekdays. Note that this restaurant, Flamingo, tecently moved to Ponte all'Ania (Pedona) on the shore of the Ania river; before if was located near the shore of the Serchio river in the territory of Gallicano. The quality, if anything, has improved! Prices reasonable. Housewine very good. RECOMMENDED!

My wife and I booked to come here for dinner on a Wednesday evening in late August 2019 having called here for a coffee tgecorevious Sunday. What a great spot. Totally unpretentious and genuine. Warm welcome from the owner and lovely waitress. We were only one of 3 tables and had a great view and a chat with the owner whose Grandmother Eva started this off. Il Mostrico has been on the same family for 100 years or more.No menu - they just tell you what they have.We had no anti pasti (but wished we had when we saw it!) then the primi piatti of tortelli with ragu which was superb and then very thinly sliced beef for my wife and I had pork. Both with fries - freshly made and mixed salad. Rosso followed by créme brûlée and I had ice cream with blueberries picked locally. The whole meal was EUR 40.It doesnât get better than this with a view to match.Thank you.

weren't sure if it was open on arrival and the main dining area is adorned with animal heads, very traditional. The menu didn't really do the food justice, it was lovely and very fresh ingredients, around 20 euros a couple for a beer and a main course presented excellent value. Would recommend

We picked this restaurant because it was open on a holiday but how lucky were we to find it. The pizza crust in not too thin or too thick, lots of choices for toppings and they serve wine even though this is a small pizzeria and not a restaurant (most in Tuscany do but it always surprises me). Very reasonable and the people who work there are SO friendly. There were language issues and they worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted and were happy.

Pub 46 music pub brewery pizzeria with wood oven! Ideally suited for group dinners, if you organize a birthday party, graduation party or any other dinner the organizer does not pay for dinner! Vision of all the matches of Serie A and Champions League.

Pizzeria self-service
Don't let the casual and family friendly atmosphere of this new pizzeria fool you, the pizza's are excellent! The owner shares his passion for his food and uses high quality ingredients, which make his pizza's memorable and delicious. In a country where good pizzas are a dime a dozen, the delicate crust, quality ingredients, and low prices make this spot worth the drive!

We visited Trovaposo which was recommended by an Italian lady working in our hotel. Really good place for pizza. They also have other Italian food, but we only ordered pizza. This is a typical Italian restaurant family fully consistent with our conceptions, as it should look like a family pizza restaurant in a small Italian village. and to do so in the best possible way. Very nice traditional interior, nice, but not intrusive service ... delicious pizza. I recommend to all pasing nearby Barga!

Caffe Capretz is in the centre of the beautiful mediaeval town of Barga. The small balcony accommodates a dozen diners and provides a spectacular setting for lunch or dinner. There is an interesting menu of local and international dishes. Service is efficient and friendly and the chef, Laura, is accomplished. We had two generous antipasti and 2 main courses for less than â¬50 including wine.
