No feverfew tonic availableI was served tonic with artificial sweetener: saccharin. I was not asked if I wanted mixer with artificial sweetener. You may have guessed I do not like artificial sweetener I will not be a returning customer. And the barman had the personality of a dead frog.A smile costs nothing.GoodbyeMaryAre you having a laugh?A one star review because we don't stock your preferred tonic? Really?? The fact we stock 4 different tonics must have escaped you or indeed that you were in micro-brewery and craft beer bar and not a cocktail bar. If you have an issue with artificial sweetener in products then I suggest you take it up with the manufacturers of that product or alternatively try one of our beers brewed 100% naturally with no artificial ingredients. My advice? The next time you're offered something with sugar in it....Take it!!!!!!!!

We dropped in to the Anglers at 6pm today. The place was busy but a lovely hostess immediately showed us to a table. This was our first time in here and we were really impressed by the comfortable ambience. Background music was being played and it was most pleasant. We ordered food from a limited menu and it arrived twenty minutes later. The quantity of the food was very good and the staff were most attentive. We certainly will be back.Well worth a visit.

Iâm jet-lagged from the long visit to the States and tiring trip back, so this morning I finally went out in search of sustenance. With the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival this weekend, I had plenty of options. My usual falafel wrap guy wasnât at the Cornmarket Saturday market, so I went browsing for something new. Fortunate for me, there is a special Jazz Festival weekend market in Emmet Square so I walked over and checked out my options, which is where I saw Knockout PizzaI love wood-fired clay (or brick) ovens for my pizza. This behemoth oven is operated by brothers John Deasy and James Deasy (aka Knockout Pizza) just waiting to cook up a made-to-order artisan pizzas. I checked out the menu and mentally noted that the pizza was larger than what Uncle Pete serves up and for about the same price. Gotta love that!I chose the Roast Vegetable and Goats Cheese pizza and away they went making it and putting in that glorious clay oven. Within minutes, I was enjoying my homemade pizza. I was not disappointed. The crust was soft with an outer crunch and the texture was not mass-produced. The roast butternut squash and caramelised onions offered a delicate sweetness to balance the peppery rocket. All pulled together by the creamy goats cheese. And it was topped with freshly shaved parmesan cheese. Just lovely!James Deasy and John Deasyâs Knockout Pizza is based in Ballincollig but baking traditional wood-fired artisan pizzas everywhere for festivals, functions, parties, and corporate events. I literally crave their pizza regularly and love festivals that give me the chance to get a slice of the pie.

We started our Whiskey Walk tour here. Such an inviting entrance that leads into a wonderfully comfortable indoor dining set up. There is outdoor seating as well as you continue back which is lovely on a good day. The Margareta Pizza was delicious and was made with fresh dough. Selection of beer and whisky is quite impressive.

Every time I go to this restaurant, the food doesn't disappoint me and even the service is great. It just needs an update of their place, seems outdated and the toilet is broken and dirty.Location wise - very good as well.

We had dinner there last night and what I can say?! Well...the quality of the food is ok, we had a starter and I must be honest: all products were from Italy for sure. We also had pizza margherita and tiramisu...here we got upset. First of all: no one italian use balsamic vinegar and rocket as toppings!!! Please!!! Tiramisu was weird, I dunno if it was the cream or the way how it was made. Italian restaurant with Irish revisiting!
