My wife and I enjoyed a nice lunch a few steps from the sand in Newport Beach. The food is BJ's, meaning they feature different pizzas, salads, soups, seafood, sandwiches, and burgers you find in American cuisine restaurants. This location is a two-story building with seating areas on both levels. The food was good and consistent with other BJ's we have visited. The server was attentive and very pleasant.

In the 1950âs, when our founder, Gina Costa, immigrated to America from Palermo, Sicily, she brought with her a special gift which was to shape the lives of her family for generations to come. Her gift was a passion. Gina loved to cook, and when Gina cook
Gina's Pizza is a basic in CDM. It has been there many years. They do things their own way....no matter what you say. If you are hungry and don't care what you eat....it is perfect.

Not impressed with Blaze. Crust is very thin and paid $2.50 for thick crust and it was not thick. Paid $4.50 for a tiny salad with nothing on it. $30 for 2 pizzas, 2 drinks, tiny salad, and soft drink is not a good value for a self service place. The Pizza Press in Orange is a much better value (love the Pizza and Salad with Drinks combo which is only $15) and better pizza. This was our first visit and we won't be coming back again.

Five years after Pizzeria Mozza opened on the corner of Highland and Melrose, Nancy Silverton focused her attention southward with a second location of Pizzeria Mozza in California. Pizzeria Mozza is an expression of Nancy's unique aesthetic and approach
Trattoria type ambiance. Nice casual look and vibe. Service was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the tricolore salad which was plenty for two people. We also ordered a pizza with mushrooms and a couple of cheeses including Tallegio. We added the house made fennel sausage. We absolutely loved it! The crust is out of this world, light and airy with awesome flavor! Definitely will return! Corkage fee of $35 is out of line for a mid range trattoria style restaurant. This is equal to the best fine dining restaurants in Newport which this is not.

Very popular on game days, especially for football. Lots of TVs; lots of games. Happy crowds and quick service. Very good wings and absolutely monstrous nachos. The deep dish stuffed pizza is true to its Chicago roots and well worth the wait. Just make sure you're hungry -- or bring some home for the absolutely best morning-after pizza.

We visit Newport every winter for a few weeks. Pirozzi (along with Salerno in Laguna) are the best! Both have amazing pastas. Pizza at Pirozzi is a real specialty. Cioppino Is among the best weâve had. Inside is noisy; patio is wonderful. If you like Italian food, this is the place for great food and service.

Perfect location on Balboa and a great mix of locals and tourists. The food was wonderful, I had a salmon salad and my coworker had the four cheese lasagna. Both were amazing and very well done!Service was great, we got there fairly early and were seated immediately, but by the time we left, the place was full. They had a decent beer and wine selection and their prices were reasonable given the location. Definitely worth a stop next time youâre in the area.

Weâve come here off and on for many many years and always find it good. Itâs a nice little place with an inside out feel and always seems very busy. Fairly simple menu with nice Italian/American standards. Fried calamari starter was excellent and showed up to the table immediately. Special of the night was Veal rib chop and that was unbelievably good and tender!Nice wine list and we had a wonderful super Tuscan red that was a great value. Will be back for sure!

We had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. They brought pieces of bread to us while we are waiting, it is simple gesture but makes a difference. It is a small restaurant with a nice casual ambiance. Our server was very nice and friendly. I got the pasta with pink sauce, it was good but I had heartburn after. Their prices like mid range.
