I didn't feel a four-star performance, but I also felt it "above average." So we'll go with 4*. Service was ok, I have no real gripes, but a few things were off. For the prices (which were above average, you're paying for the view), the service was a bit slow and disinterested. Not rude, mind you, just slow and disinterested. I did enjoy being able to eat outside but under cover. However, I'm not sure I get "the view" we paid for. Youâre looking at a sandbar where people kayak to, etc., and there's boats coming and going, a strong smell of diesel permeates, etc. Those are the negatives. The positives: Prices are in-line with similar restaurants in the area. The outdoor seating is nice. And the food was quite good. I was there with my wife and teenage girls. We tried each othersâ entrees. The girls had the 4 cheese pizza. Excellent wood fired pizza, a quality mozzarella for the slightly elevated pallet. My wife had the Chicken Sumpinâ, with the broccoli salad. She referred to the sandwich (I didnât try it) as âok,â but the broccoli salad was excellent. I had the St. Joe with the kettle chips. Chips were decent. The sandwich was an Italian treat, a generous portion of meat and a unique vinaigrette. Wife and I were somewhat upset we failed to try the Black Sheep BPT, which is apparently the best sandwich on the menu.Again, overall Iâd call it above average for the spend. If in Beaufort, Iâd stop there again.

Over the past several years, we have eaten in and had delivery and carry out from Pizza Hut. We were always pleased with the food, service, delivery, etc. Today, 9/8/16, I tried to place an order online, but the store was not taking online orders. I tried phoning in my order but no answer. I googled Pizza Hut (thinking I might have an incorrect number) and it indicated Pizza Hut is closed. I don't know if this is a temporary closing or if it is closed for good. You might want to call before going though. Does anyone have any information on the closing?

Beach Bumz Pub & Pizzaria is located in downtown Morehead City. Casual dining at reasonable prices. They offer a large variety of foods including pizza and offer daily specials. They also have a large selection of beer & wine. They have a sit-down bar, ba
Very nice place to eat if you are looking for informal. Good menu. Burgers are great, other sandwiches as well. A lot of pizza options. Potato salad is different and excellent if you are a potato salad groupie. One negative was the fries... Very greasy and limp. I think that is how they make them so choose accordingly.

We ordered Stromboli's from this resturant, after we found out the resturant at our hotel closed at 9:00. The Stromboli's were delicious. This is a must. You won't be let down.

We hadn't been here in a while and found ourselves looking for a place for a relatively quick bite while we killed some time waiting for an event to begin. We have always enjoyed FC the few times we have been here over the years and remembered recently that some friends mentioned it's one of their favorite restaurants. It was a Tuesday night and right around 6pm so not crowded and we were seated right away. The service was exceptional and super friendly. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. I had the vidalia onion soup and it was really delicious as was the endive salad I had . Mike had the lasagna and I had a bite and it was delicious as well. I had hot tea and was given a large selection of tea bags to choose from and our waitress automatically refilled the hot water when needed. Really great little restaurant. We heard the table next to us - a party of 6 - raving about their meals as well.

Pescara is a chef-driven restaurant that incorporates a lot of local seafood and makes all of our food from scratch. We strive to serve food and drinks that rival that of the best fine dining restaurants, but in a casually elegant environment. We are loca
Tonight after another bad experience with this restaurant, I have to ask myself why do I keep returning to a place where certain staffers exude an attitude that implies they don't care about your business and would rather you were not here. You'd think they would give us some credit for giving them chance after chance after prior issues with both the food and certain rude staff, but nope. Even the manager has attitude. They should be glad they're operating in Eastern NC because doing business this way would never fly in a large city.Over a year ago, a hostess practically berated me for being a mere 10 mins late for a reservation. If you read other reviews on here you will see I'm not alone in getting this treatment. After that, most people would never return. I was told that person is no longer employed here so I thought I was safe from hostess hell. Yet, once again there was an issue with another hostess. This time, I called to make a reservation for 2. I called back to increase it to 3 and specified outside (trust me you don't ever want to dine inside this establishment. You will come out more frozen than Carbone from Goodfellas). On the phone after putting me on hold the hostess said "okay I got you a table outside, no problem see you soon". Simple enough, or so I thought. Then we get there and a stone faced woman (not sure if she was the same one I'd spoken to) said, 'We can't sit you outside because 2 tables already got seated'. There were tons of empty tables outside and it was 45 mins till close so already this is ridiculous and makes zero sense.I reminded her of our convo and she, as if rendered temporarily deaf, asked me to follow her to an inside table. When I asked what the problem was, she said the manager only allows 'certain tables' to be opened up. Again, totally baffling as they had plenty of seating. Finally after I asked to speak to the manager (who didn't come out) the waitress came over and said, "sorry about that misunderstanding with the hostess" and put us outside. Is there a drastic shortage of good hostesses? Funny how restaurants in Beaufort don't seem to have this issue, yet it's a pattern at this place. The servers here are always sweet and polite - shame that doesn't seem to rub off on everyone else.As for the pizza, most people would not come back after the first mishap. But I know they are capable of good pizza because I've had it here before. In the past, it has arrived under cooked so I learned to ask for it crisp from the outset. Sometimes even that wasn't enough to get a fully cooked pie that didn't have toppings sliding off. One time they left the cheese off without telling us. So this time I once again asked for crisp and they bring pizza that they should have been embarrassed to serve. Way over cooked, barely any sauce left that hadn't vaporized and the edges black. The rest of the crust insanely crisp and hard like an old saltine. The manager comes over. She never smiles and forget any apology. I explained what happened and how I asked for crisp because in the past the pizza had to be sent back for being under cooked, and in a tone dripping with attitude she says, 'yes I remember you' sending it back or something like that, like how dare I ever criticize anything this place serves. She explained that the oven is now 'fixed' so that it no longer produces under cooked pizza. How would I know that? We were NEVER told there was any problem with the oven last summer when the pie was under cooked, which is very strange. She asked if we wanted another pizza. The newbie at our table, who had never been here before, at this point didn't trust that the pizza here is ever good so she declined. Her choice. I finished the overdone pie because I didn't want to wait for a new one. But here's the thing - if the oven is now 'fixed', why didn't the server say so, and advise me that asking for crisp now would result in a way overcooked pie?? If the manager has such a great memory of past under cooked issues that we've had, why didn't she say anything? When she came over, she said 'well you asked for crisp' - again with this attitude like it's our fault. I am not clairvoyant regarding your oven issues. Expecting pizza to be neither under or overcooked is normal, and if tiny Caribbean islands can get thin-crust pizza right, why can't this place? I remember an email I got from the owner of another place down here (in Beaufort) that we've been going to for years. Normally it's great but one night we had a problem. The owner could not have been nicer, apologizing and promising to make it right, offering us a gift certificate and saying she'd look into the issue. Contrast that to this place. I have NEVER gotten anything close to that kind of response from them no matter what the issue. They clearly just don't care. Honestly, the whole look and tone gives off the message of how dare we come back here, which I find baffling as I've never been rude to anyone at this restaurant. I simply want the pizza to be as good as it was the first time I ate here, but I now realize that must have been a fluke. (One other note about the pizza - in the past it has been drizzled with pesto - this time, nothing. No consistency). The attitude seems to be that if you have a bad experience here, it's your fault, not theirs. It's a shame because it's a cute place in a good location, but I think I'm going to have to wait and hope they get new ownership and/or management. It's too bad the owner of that Beaufort restaurant can't give lessons to these folks in how to respond to customers. They badly need them. Sad part is they don't realize it.

If you're used to NY, NJ, or Phila pizza, lower your expectations. That said, its okay. Didn't try their other stuff so I can't comment on that. The pizzas are big, so you get a whole lotta mediocre. But usually a nice staff, and its just about the only game in town.
