Our visit started off on the wrong foot when there was confusion about what was on special that night and waiting for a manager to determine what was really on special. The manager was somewhat rude to an employee then spent the rest of the dinner being extremely friendly to us and constantly providing refills. The food looked beautiful-we had salad, cheese bread, and a pizza, but the only tasty thing was the salad. The pizza was bland (despite pepperoni and sausage topping) and tasted only sweet (from the sauce/dough) and greasy. The cheese bread was also lacking in flavor. We will not return here-even though this place is only a few blocks from our home.
Established in 2015 LOTSA is a fast-casual pizza restaurant that specializes in offering customizable, fast pizzas and salads with freshness and ingredients to the customers' satisfaction. Our pizza is baked in just 150 seconds!
This is worse than any other similar pizza chains I have been to. I have been to Blaze Pizza, &pizza, and Pizzafire. I went to Lotsa twice, and only went the second time because they had a special for $3.99 pizzas. The prices are comparable or slightly higher than others. The sauce isn't very good. Also, instead of offering pesto sauce, they just offer "olive oil" as a sauce, which is weird. The crust is too thick for the style of pizza. The tomatoes I got were not that fresh. The spinach got burnt on top. It looked like a mess. There are two good ideas in this place. I like that they offer a whole wheat crust. They also have ricotta cheese in a piping bag. They have one of the annoying pop dispensers that has a touch screen and causes a line because people don't know how to use it. They also run out of flavors frequently since they can't store that much syrup of a particular pop, and they only have one machine.I guess you don't have other options for the "Blaze Pizza" type of fast casual pizza chain in Athens, but this place is subpar.Hello, We are sorry about your less than favorable experience. Please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can speak further. Regards, Jenna M.
We were trying to find a restaurant for dinner but it was a Sunday night and the beginning of spring break so almost everything we walked to was closed (in spite of showing as open on trip advisor). We stumbled upon this place and were very pleased with the pizza. We ordered the Florence and almost ate a whole 14"! It was only $12.99. We would come again if we were in town!
Donatos is a family-owned pizza company famous for Edge to Edge® toppings on a crispy golden thin crust. Founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1963, we take pride in giving back in every community we serve.
This Athens pizza shop is a local favorite. The reason is the food is fabulous. Pizzas have a buttery cheesy flavor that is semi addictive. The pizzas are cooked to perfection â the crust is beautiful with crispy-edged pepperoni and nicely browned cheese. Subs are also toasted to a yummy goodness. The sub bread is fresh and tasty. The Big Don sub is my favorite. Salads are fresh and well prepared. They have wings and desserts too. Donatoâs offers delivery, has a drive through for pickup and is co-located with Ashbyâs Ice Cream Parlor if you want dessert.

Goodfella's is one of those Athen's staples that everyone comes to rely on. It's cheap by the slice, it's satisfying, and the Chicago style crust is so frickin' delicious that it stands out among the monotonous, triangle slices around town!As a student fifteen years ago, Goodfella's made for a cheap and fulfilling lunch and was useful for delicious, late night saturation. Nothing has changed, except:When visiting town, my wife and I will sometimes even grab a "half baked" sheet and take it back to Oxford to enjoy later.Tip: blanket your slice with parmesan, oregano and crushed reds.

I was a t a speech tournament at OU and Goodfellas delivered pizza for it. The pizza was excellent! It is thick - deep dish, and very tasty! Went back to the restaurant because it was good.

Hands down the best place to get a calzone in Athens! They are just about the perfect drunk food. I highly recommend the Buffer Zone (buffalo chicken). The only downside is that they are a little pricey ($7.25). They do have daily deals posted to their facebook page.

The menu has a great variety of items - Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, Indian, Japanese, steaks and there are wonderful nightly specials. Recommended.

Amazing combinations of pizzas all constructed with care and dedication for hungry customers, and laid out with creativity and stellar photos. Many top-notch vegi pizzas along with some serious meat choices as well. One of the best is the Italian Meatball special, along with their Philly Steak and Cheese. The Cactus Jack Fajita and the Asiago chicken with cashews are also great. Feeling in a different mood, just put together your own topping combos, like roasted red peppers, fresh mushrooms and spinach. The spelt crust is addictively unique, as is the krenza wheat crust for a different taste and texture. Kudos to one of Athens' coolest and down-to-earth business owners, John, who can also make your Saturday at Athens Farmer's Market with just an incredible array of fresh-baked imaginative breads.I could live on the Asiago cheese bread, but there are so many other cool choices it will blow your mind (and taste buds). Note: I have had one poor pizza here--after a grueling road trip my lovely lady drove into A-town for a meatball special, and when we opened it at home, it was like OMG. Too tired to return back to town, we went in the next day, where the manager (a) fired the employee on the spot and (b) made us a new and properly constructed pizza to go. That's our kind of guy! Free 3-topping pizza with 10-fill punch card (and it will be well-stocked, not some skimpy giveaway).

We were in town for a few hours and visited Jackie O's to taste their seasonal offerings. The seasonal CHOMOLUNGMA was right on target for my taste buds. With only a half and hour available, we tasted a few "samples" and vowed to come back the next time we were in town. Knowledgeable and courteous staff.
