Pizza was great. The waitress was very nice and helpful. We went late at night so they were out of some ingredients but that's on us. Recommended!

I lived in Angra dos Reis for about 9 months back in 2009 and now I am working here again. Formaggio is my favorite restaurant in the city. There is not one "fancy" restaurant in Angra that I know of. The restaurants tend to be simple ones, but there are one or two places that consistently deliver good food. Formaggio is one of them. Great pizza and pasta with pretty good service. When I am in Angra, I always visit Formaggio at least once.

Angra has few good choices of pizza, and Casa Nova is one of that's. Located downtown in front of a fish market, sometimes you remember the market cause of the smellWine list isn't good, not sure if you can bring one.

Ordered two dishes : the chicken with rice, beans and fries was breadcrumbed, with grey meat inside. It looked absolutely revolting. The sirloin steak was very over cooked and tasted like no other beef I've eaten in my life, nor in my co-diners'. I have a nasty feeling it was the horse steak which was offered in the line above on the menu. I asked the restauranteur and he insisted it was beef. Worst experience in Brazil so far.

Restaurant on the beach to the south of the piers in Abraao. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Fish menu is good. Only order 1 main course for two people ( common practise in Brazil and Argentina).The main attraction is 'Bruno' who sings live in the evenings ( but not every night). He has a wonderful, soulful voice. If there is any music A&R rep out there at the moment, give him a recording contract, and send me 10% of his future income!

Located inside a marina, the restaurant has a nice view of the ocean in between of wonderful boats. Many seafood options at a fair price for the region. Good quality beer and drinks and appetizers. It may be a restaurant or a bar, depends on what you wish. You have to have a car to get there or pay a good money for a taxi.

We loved coming to this restaurant, we came a number of times. The owner is warm, friendly and even helped us plan boat trips off the island, she was a genuinely nice person.The Pizzas rivalled those in Italy and the fresh sea food was also very good.Highly recommended.

Probably the Best pizza i ever had while travelling abroad and i travel quite a bit! Though be aware that until 5pm they dont serve pizzas but only small meals for one person (pastas)Highly recommended
