A stylish and contemporary italian restaurant serving fantastic Italian food. We have put together exciting new menus offering both new and traditional Italian and Mediterranean style dishes
We had cravings for old school lasagne and red wine on a cold Novemver night. Sadly there was no lasagne available for some reason, but we went for traditional spaghetti bolognese instead, cheesy garlic bread, tiramisu, espresso and a bottle if house red. All amazing. The spaghetti was delicious and the tiramisu the best I've had in ages. Great service too.

We were here for a quick lunch. The eating area in the Market was very busy and we were told that it would be about twenty minutes before we were served. This turned out to be the case and the pizzas were well worth the wait. My wife said that they were the best she'd ever had in England. The Marinara was good; the Napolitana even better. I also liked the ambience, in spite of rather loud music. Living in small town Cheshire, vibrant Altrincham Market is another world. Service was informal and friendly. And it was not expensive.

We came to eat tonight as a celebratory meal - and overall, whilst there was good elements we left feeling massively disappointed. The kids garlic bread was very dry & would have massively benefited from garlic butter. It was good bread, but overall had a slightly burned garlic taste. The kids spag Bol was very peppery and wasnât well received. The tricolour garlic bread was delicious! The salami & Parma ham pizza was also very good! The mushroom starter on crouton was tasty. The chicken in white wine & cream sauce was delicious too - but the sides that came were wrong (I ordered rocket & Parmesan salad & got mixed salad!). Initially we were told there was no chicken - it took the manager explaining that the sliced chicken could be used to actually get us the dish I ordered! The kitchen was happy to just say âno chickenâ The biggest problem was with the lamb - which was off the menu! We explained we needed dairy free & so chicken in a chiccatore sauce was ordered. Only possible after the managers intervention! Having explained âno dairyâ my partner ordered truffle chips - but when they came they were covered in cheese & he couldnât eat them! We ate I side out of 4! When the dish came it was basically plain chicken in tinned tomatoes with no real flavour. I wanted to send it back but my partner & kids were worried about further delays and so refused! The kitchen was clearly not coping, perhaps as there were more waiting staff than chefs & it had already taken 2 hrs almost for the meal! The chef seemed out of his depth & couldnât cope with the covers in the restaurant. As stated above, the manager was very helpful. Overall for £100+ of a meal we feel massively disappointed. Clearly there were good bits but overall we wonât be back! Thank you for taking time to leave a review, I am sorry to hear about your disapointing meal, I know when you called that evening for the table, I was hesitant to take the booking as we where have an issue in the kitchen, unfortunately one of are chef's had been called on a family emergency and we where a chef down and while the team pulled together and try not to let it effect the customers, it would seem from you review it did, for that I am truly sorry. I would love it if you could give me a call at the restaurant as I would love to discuss this complaint further with you.I am sorry I did not speak to your table on the night after sorting the chicken issue, as I would off hopefully been able to sort thing out so you did not leave so disappointed. Being a locally owned independent restaurant, customers are very important to us and we would alway like to be given the chance rectify issues.Hopefully hear from you soon.Joanne

Looking for a long-term burger romance? lets meat!
Have passed this place a number of times. And it drew me towards it. So, one evening, having escaped from the Trafford Centre, we divided to visit. What a great place!Absolutely first class burgers. The decor is not exactly earth-shattering - but this place is all about the burgers. Pleasant service. Reasonable price. But forget that. This place is all about the burgers. We will be back.

Friday evening for a family meal and as expected of this chain the food was of good quality with plenty of options for everyone at reasonable prices. The service was good, friendly and polite. Ambience was super - busy, boisterous and enjoyable. Pizza Express chain is to be recommended to all, remembering where it fits into the dining league.

We arrived early but our table was waiting in the corner as we had agreed!!The place was bustling presumably because the early diners had an 'Early Bird' menuWe had fillet steak which was cooked to our individual tastes, and chicken with mushrooms. The taste was great as was the wine (Primitivo) and other drinks. It was my birthday and we had a cake and candles and flowers - which I think my carer took.I have a mobility problem and use a folding walker and where we sat it was well out of way of busy waitresses and patrons. The toilet was too small for walker and on reflection I will leave it outside in future. Will go againit is a smallish place and tables are trattoria wooden but well apart. I saw some tables outside but it was raining so maybe not used. They were under canopy

We are an independent Italian restaurant in the village of Hale, Cheshire. We take great pride in importing some of the finest produce Italy has to offer.
Visited for the first time last month, since it has been Dante's. Very nice indeed. :)From service, to food, to decor, all excellent. Very tasty Italian food, we had a spaghetti dish, a tagliatelle dish and a pizza. Delicious. Our server, Daniel, treated us to a small selection of their home-made delectable ice creams as tasters, and they are to die for, sadly no vegan ones yet though. Hopefully they will make one or two next.Wheelchair accessible and child friendly. All round wonderful visit, we will be back. Thank you Dante. Thank you for taking the time to leave this wonderful review. We are so glad you enjoyed your Dante experience! We will certainly look at creating some vegan gelato options and will do some experimentation in the kitchen!Looking forward to seeing you again soon

Wood Fired Pizza Takeaway
This is my partner favourite pizza place! They have a few pizza options and cooked fresh in there stone oven. I love the mushroom one.Much affordable and taste better than the one at Altricham market. The service is friendly and they offer takeaway also. Also, the pizza came with homemade aioli or mayo inside the box. Great affordable eats if you want a good cherry meal with real flavours! Theres a few seats outside if you wish to eat outside and people watch
