Alamo is one of the Rio Grande Valley's gateways to Mexico, via U.S. Route 281 and Nuevo Progreso, Tamaulipas, as well as gateway to the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge. Alamo's population was 18,353 at the 2010 census and an estimated 19,220 in 2016.

We are winter Texanâs and have been coming here for 25 years. We were in Fri evening with old friends. Service was prompt and food was excellent. Owner came by and wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. Looking forward to next season in the Valley

We ordered the caprese salad which consisted of 3 slices of tomatoes & 3 slices of fresh mozzarella for about $7 or $8. The basil was aged but not spoiled. We ordered a thin crust margherita pizza. The crust was not thin at all, it was similarly to Pizza Hut hand tossed crust. The ingredients were scarce that we scraped off what we could and ended up leaving half the pizza crust. Maybe we didnât ordered their best dish but will not go back.

close to our motel, fast, tasty. I could walk over half block,how much more can you say about a domino's pizza. verybusy place, I ' d call and run over and it was ready.

Had the deep dish pepperoni "Hot 'n Ready" and it was soooo good! Lots of bread (crust) and cheese. Gal at the counter was super nice, and there are a few tables inside at which you could eat. But watch out for the parking 'lot' - it was atrocious!! You can get cornered while you're right in front of the business, and there is only one place that actually 'smooths' out to the road, and another that only looks like it does, but there's really a curb there (you could easily take out a low-clearance car).

This Pizza Hut is better than most. My biggest complaint is that they keep the dining room very cold. And the A/C blows on you regardless where you sit, so that makes it more uncomfortable. Besides that, the food is better than the average pizza hut. The tables are usually clean.

Kind of cool place; first time there today. Party kind of place and the pizza was good. While it is a little loud, it is very affordable and the place is huge. There are games to play and prizes to win. And, you can have a huge group there, easily.
