Reviews on Peruvian food in Panama City, Panama Province, Panama. A diverse multicultural city of almost 1.3 million, Panama City offers a lot more than an up-close view of the Canal. Shantytowns slink up alongside shiny high-rise condos. The Old City is an atmospheric labyrinth of churches, plazas and palaces. Fifteen miles from downtown Panama City, Soberania National Park is an excellent destination for hiking and birding. For a fascinating look at the canal, take a taxi or local bus to Miraflores Locks Visitor Center and look down on the traffic below.

Great little place, authentic Peruvian food - best we had in a long time! Causa Limeña, Langoustine Thermidor and Lomo Saltado were absolutely delicious, good size portions. Enjoyed Cusqueña Golden Lager too, have not had it since our trip to Peru in October 2015..Efficient service and good value for money.

We didnât know where to eat, and asked the concierge at our hotel. He recommended this place without hesitation. He was right. Great atmosphere inside (outside not impressive) wonderful service and the most important thing great food. For 4 people we paid about $130 including wine and tip, not bad.

The restaurant was recommended to me by the hotel I was staying at (Toscana Inn). The restaurant was about 100 metres away from the hotel. The meal I had (surf and turf) was totally amazing. Very fresh, tender and delicious. I didnât realize Peruvian food was so rich with flavour!!!

I have no experience with Peruvian food, so I can't comment on authenticity, but I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The Pisco sour traditional drink was similar to a margarita but quite nice. Steak Machu Picchu was excellent- Very tender steak on bed of cheese based spaghetti topped with 2 langostinos (jumbo shrimp). My daughter was disappointed that there was chicken in the "seafood paella" which she ordered. Menu did not specify this. She does not eat chicken. However, I tasted the chicken that she had picked out and it did taste good.

We ate here last night. We shared an appetizer of Argentinian sausage on tomato bread. It was delicious. For the main course Andrew had Pork Pad Thai - plentiful and tasty. On recommendation of another trip advisor post I had White Asparagus soup. Very glad I followed their recommendation. I had desert of three meringue sampler, it was delicious. We also had a couple of beers. Service was slow, our meal took a couple of hours but we enjoyed the food. It was harder to get the attention of the waiter when we wanted an additional drink otherwise it would have been five stars.
